Barrel may need a few shots yet, but .22lr doesn't usually take much to settle in, I would certainly suggest trying an assortment of ammo just the same. I would be expecting Tikka to be pretty good, arguably they should match/exceed CZ for accuracy, even though CZ produces some excellent results. My CZ is running more accurately than that, an old zeroing session, 60 yards with .22LR and 100 yards with HMR, Both CZ. I have no need or desire to change my CZ22LR, if I did, then I would almost certainly get another CZ. But I have to admit, Tikka would be a strong contender if I f

My patience with Canada Geese expired many years ago, they have taken over so much of the UK waters they are an absolute pain, not to mention the fact, I'm sure more comes out of their back end than they actually eat!!!

FFS How many times have I told you I have NEVER called you a LIAR. I also asked you to stop saying that. Now, keep you mouth shut and don't ever say that again!
-
Greyman That's the best you can offer then, just swerve again!!!!
-
Once again swerve the question, and of course you have everything to hide, as you have refused to publish any of the so called evidence you have, for an assortment of absurd reasons. I have never heard any of the TV programs on the subject say they have an assortment of irrefutable proof but can't show any of it!!!!! I, and most here would be very interested to see some proof, but you insist on keeping your proof a secret!!! Why can't you accept there is scepticism and another viewpoint? BIG CATS EXIST, and anyone who questions that is an idiot appears to be your stance!!!
-
There you go again, not a sherd of evidence, "the case is growing", so it is not proven!! Will you STOP evading the situation and STOP calling me a liar, we have been here before, and not once have I ever called you a liar! If you keep calling me a Liar, then I will call you a Liar, because I have never called you a Liar!!!!! Quick precis, not suggesting any are direct quotes, but they are in the Ballpark. I have the DNA (but the lab wants to stay anonymous)!! I know sites that have 100% sightings, but I'm not allowed to tell you where!!! I have pictures that 10

Look, I'm happy for you to indulge in your quest, and genuinely I am interested, but you are more than a bit rich criticising others over a lack of facts, as during the life of this, and the last thread, (what is it, 5-6 years) not a single FACT has been produced showing the existence of Big Cats, or we would not still be discussing it!!

Deker replied to Deker's topic in General Talk
As I said upfront, I thought that, but research says no, its a Tobacco jar, not ashtray! -
Carlton Ware Pottery........... Help PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Deker replied to Deker's topic in General Talk
That looks like a good shout, but I can't find the one I've got!!! Cheers! -
Bit off the wall for me this one, I've come into this piece, which I've been told is rare and valuable. I can find next to nothing about it, except I think it is made between 1894 and 1926. I don't even know what it is, it has a strange screw type removable top, so I expect it is to keep something secure or airtight, maybe tea or perhaps herbs/spices (I'm guessing). Its about 5inches tall. At first I thought it was an ashtray, but the indents around the lip are simply to locate the metal clamp to release the top! So, can anyone help me with this please, links, value, etc etc

Good luck, and each to their own, I know they have a following, but not for me anymore, I've moved on! What is it about them?????? -

Got my first call for Bees about 10 days ago! I get very few calls for the bees generally! -
Taking a camera is a good idea sometimes...a picture paints a thousand words!

We are overrun with them round my way, and to be honest they are my favourite to eat. What we lack is the CWD, none round my way at all!!

Back in the early 1980's I actually spent 3 days working side by side with him, never picked up an inkling. He actually seemed a decent, witty, chatty bloke, seems I got that a bit wrong!!!!

Dead right, remember that works both ways, there are those that believe 100% yet have NO EVIDENCE!!!! Perhaps proof would stop all the non believers, people only question because there is no tangible evidence, but some keep throwing speculation forward and get upset when others question them!!!
-
This thread is going the same way as the last and will no doubt end in the same way. Those who believe, throw up any scrap of drunken evidence, pet cat sightings, cardboard cut-outs, blurred pictures from miles away and speculative DNA that could have come from anywhere, then throw their toys out of the pram when someone dares to suggest they are not convinced! I am very happy to see some EVIDENCE. Not a single TV program in the modern era has shown evidence (despite every program saying they will prove their existence). For the believers, I am happy for you to continue believi

Really.......... and exactly where did the hair come from, that report is about as unscientific and inconclusive as you can get!
-
Doesn't matter which expert has been on the BBC/ITV/Amazon/Etc/Etc/Etc....none of them has shown any evidence yet. Every time I hear of a program about British Big cats, I know its just going to be a waste of time!!! Not a single one (in the modern age) has delivered yet!

......they said, "they are everywhere, out from about lunchtime, all afternoon and evening, and not scared of us at all................" Well, you guessed it, nearly 6 hours on site I saw a TOTAL of 3, and 3 didn't go home. The formal gardens were ok but the field was a joke, couldn't see a thing, a fox could have strolled through undetected, the grass was that high!!

I still don't use them at all, and frankly I don't want to, but pressure is steadily mounting, so I suspect it is just a matter of time!
