  1. Nice shooting. Im trying (in vain) to lower the number of greys in my area too. Every one is a winner though.
  2. Whirlpool integrated dishwasher, brand new, 6th sense cleaning bollocks. Looking for £150, they retail for £300-400 apparently. If anyones interested i can give model, size photos etc on request. Just trying to sell it before it goes on fleabay. East cleveland

    Shifts

Mate, 12hrs 4 on 4 off is THE best sift pattern going. Its the dogs gonads, seriously. SO MUCH time off.
  4. Im addicted to detecting. Ive found several silver hammered coins, a couple of roman coins too. Best find is probably a mint charles 1st scottish 20 p coin.
  5. Ye, its right you should wait for a frost but it sounds like your in same boat as me, if you wait someone else will snaffle them. Pick em, wash em, pick through em, drain em, bag em and bung them in the freezer until you use them. Jobs a good un.

    Whisky

It was the 12 yr old Old Pulteney bracken boy, i only buy from the supermarket and thats all they have but to be honest i dont think my palate would appreciate anything older , im not an expert, just someone who enjoys whisky. Actually i think we have had this conversation before a while back mate. Ive tried most of the "glen" whiskies and i think they are a little hyped up tbh, think they are living on their name. Then again, ive tried most of the "glen" whiskies in the pub so probably were too drunk to fully appreciate. At the moment Old Pulteney has it for me by a mile but im still lookin

    Whisky

I love a drop of whisky. I buy a bottle of single malt as soon as the last one has run out, and whichever is on offer at the supermarket, i intend to try them all eventually! My favourite so far, by an absolute mile, is Old Pulteney. Its SOOOOO good. STRONGLY recommended.
  8. At £480 owed im guessing you will have done around a weeks work on his farm, there or thereabouts. If youve done a good job then you cant let him get away with this. Have you spoken to him, found out what his issues are and why he wont pay? Only you and him will know whether you did a good job or not. Were you charging by the hour and maybe the both of you had differing ideas of how long it would take? If your trapping wasnt as good as usual you may need to swallow your knob and maybe offer to round it down to an agreed sum or as an earlier post said, offer the option of paying monthly. £480
  9. Im not sure if they do back issues. On ebay they are for sale at a ridicolous £14.95 an issue so maybe not.
  10. Double carrying box and about 40 nets all made by me. These are decent nets, not the thin shite. I dont ferret now so its all gotta go. I think £75 is a decent price to ask. I would get that just for the nets alone on fleabay. Collection only, east clveland
  11. Can anyone tell me what these are roughly worth now please. Ive got from issue 1 to 36 and am selling up everything relevant to falconry but have no idea of the value before i put them up for sale. Thanks in advance trappa
  12. Anyone have an idea as to why my pond hasnt got any frogspawn in it this year? Theres frogs in there, ive seen up to three at any one time though there may be more. Weve had frogspawn the past few years but this year its zilch. Apart from either all my frogs are same sex or ive got all gay bumboy frogs ive no idea. Anyone?
  13. I would really like to give this a go. Have you got an easy link to follow?
  14. To be honest after reading your way to make jam i think your "going round scarborough to get to whitby" Your microwaved version is more complicated than the normal way to make jam tbh.
  15. One flew over the cuckoos nest.
  16. I said when the football was on in brazil we should change our anthem. God save......... does feck all for me or anyone else i dont think. Jerusalem or Land of hope and glory would be good.
  17. My lad goes to the gym with me and he is only 12. I just make sure the weights he uses arent too much for him. Before primary school i used to get him to do 10 press ups, his mother used to moan at me, he thanked me last week, told me it was the best thing i could have done. He can now bang 10+ pull ups out and 30+ press ups easy. Its good to see the little ones going to the gym and doing constructive things rather than congregating on street corners. We go to gym together and shoot rabbits once a week or so, great for bonding with him, couldnt be happier/prouder.
  18. Blair is an evil, greedy bas*ard. He knows that the war he started has created this instability, hes got to, hes an educated man. The bottom line is all he is interested in is £££'s , and his cancer charity robbing wife is worse. How he sleeps at night knowing he was the reason so many people died, and all for money is beyond me. If dante is right i reckon the 9th circle of hell awaits the horrible smarmy b*****d.
  19. Ive got a cz brno style bolt action in .22lr . Cant recommend them enough.
  20. I think glenfiddich and glenmorangie are a little cliche, good whiskies but have been somewhat hyped up over the years. Got to be honest, my nose and palate arent great, i try to read up on each whisky i get and see if i can taste what the masters taste but only rarely do. That said, old puteney is sooooo good, its sweet but with a really salty finish, and it only gets a half decent write up by serious reviewers........each to their own i guess. A friend of mine who knows his whisky told me to warm the glass up first, it brings the flavours out. and it works.
  21. I'm on a bit of a quest to find my favourite malt. So far old puteney is winning, closely followed by isle of jura superstition. Haven't tried this make but if you du, let me know. Cheers
