I used to always aim to be all bitches but ended up with a dog and now have eight adult bitches and four adult dogs about the place. Found it’s probably more to do with individual dog than sex. But having said that I think it’s easier to get a dog to a certain level than a bitch, but if you get a real hard bitch, she’s usually something special. Got a litter here now and I’ll be keeping a dog and bitch to run on as they are the stand out two pups.

Aye I know all of that mate, I just remember if I'm correct that Stan just actually went and took his whippet x (I think) and beat the man fair and square on his ground. Think it was on here. Was just light hearted fun. But always admired Stan for taking his dog and quietly beating a legend lol.

Foxes are cool. Very cool. Ive never understood the weird hatred for some animals we hunt some folk have. Whilst sometimes they may be a pain in the arse, the more there are, the more there are to hunt. But foxes specifically are just very very cool animals. Ive got rabbits that live just outside my yard gate in a little set, and bounce about the place. The dogs chase them occasionally but dont do much harm to them, could ferret the set but why bother, its nice to see them about.

Its a bit like a 1st x bull x. Bull x grey hound. . . . . most greyhounds are fast, but a lot of bulls are shit. Collie x grey . . . . . most greys are fast, but f**k me most collies are mental weirdo c**ts who have no place in the hunting world. Get the right one and the x would be mustard. And I suppose years ago maybe a lot more collies were the 'right' type. Ive caught most stuff by accident with the collies, and watching them and how they react, you can see which ones suit breeding a runner, and most dont. Sure they kill stuff, but so would most dogs if in their favour

I’ve had a Kawasaki mule, Polaris ranger and demoed the Honda pioneer and we’ve got something else that’s come recently tht I can’t remember, I’ll look later. Hated the mule, the ranger was pretty good but eventually gave in to the abuse it’s had. The Honda was like a rally car to drive about the place, didn’t have it look just to mess about with but seemed solid and well built.

Side by sides are very expensive for what they are. Good maybe if you are an old boy with a lot of spare cash, but you would get a tidy little jimny conversion for same money. Of all of them the mule isn't great either, I've used a few. Currently running two quads, an auto suzuki king quad 520 and a honda manual 420.

Ah mate thats a shame, had some good days out with that big dog and you guys. I hope you and the mrs and nipper are well and any other dogs you have kicking about now. RIP big lad.
