  1. My knees are giving out due I think from trudging up steep hill country. Like worn out shockies, lol.
  2. Good idea, I've been racking my brain trying to think of something before it kills itself. If I try to get the rock out she holds it in her mouth somehow and then runs off. It's a top little full on terrier apart from this.
  3. Same over here, plenty of ferrets but not many ferreters. The young people that have them look horrified when you talk about working them. Even the country kids no nothing about them, what are these people teaching their kids? It is a dying art but all us old blokes will keep it alive while we can. World's gone to shit.
  4. My new Parson pup about 15weeks old is forever digging up rocks/stones from the yard and chewing and swallowing them. She is still eating and shitting ok. She has a good diet of meat, chicken some rabbit and good quality kibble as I've fed all my pups. Is there any way of stopping this habit, I've never seen this before, cheers.
  5. Magoo, you need to come over here, it's been raining almost constantly for 2 years now. I'm ankle deep in wet clay. Your bog beasts would have a ball on the fallow and roos around here. My whippet has snapped it's four legs stuck in the shite and the terriers drowned, lol. I think our countries have swapped weather.
  6. One bolted for the dogs and caught is worth a hundred netted to me ?. Plus more to bolt for the dogs next time, maybe the way to go these days.
  7. A bit young at 12 weeks but what can you do, little parson bitch.
  8. I'd have to hire a jet because I'd probably come back with a load of good terriers and lurchers, lol.
  9. I'm more interested in the geographical location. ?
  10. I've always wanted to breed a litter of whirriers but with the low number of ferreters around my area I'm worried they might end up in pet homes and be too much dog for most people. I'd still like one myself.
  11. I only feed the adult dogs once a day now, they were leaner when fed twice a day though. Twice for old dogs and three times for pups.
  12. The accents vary depending where you come from in Oz, we have trashy houso , snobby North Shore and inbred hillbilly. That's the 2% that speak English these days. Probably 1% more English speaking residents than you cnts have, lol
  13. We used to get $5 each alive back in early 80's, they'll give you $15 now. I was only earning $70 for a 6 day week as an apprentice greenkeeper, lol.
  14. Don't take many pics these days but Sirblessed has a lot of vids on here. Not many rabbits about these days where I live in NSW. When I was young I remember ferreting 300 for the weekend with a mate as our best. We always did ok and sold rabbits paid my first house deposit as I'd make up to ten times my weekly wage as an apprentice for a weekend doing what I loved. Yeah, ferreting in Oz has been going on a long time.
  15. That's an average afternoon mooch with the whippets here in Oz, Wolfdog. Should see when we go ferreting, ?. Looks like the latest model ute too.
  16. Pork is leaner meat than beef and pig dogs here eat a lot of it now since the overseas demand dwindled. I still think beef is the best meat for dogs to put on muscle. One meat my dogs loved was feral goat where they would only eaten mutton if really hungry or they got out, lol. Joking of course.
  17. I knew it was you when you mentioned crappy dog breed crosses, don't do that again.
  18. That would be a good job done imo, I'm not really a people person.
  19. If you put your thoughts into something constructive you may rule the world.
