    spot on, most of the modern deerhounds and 1st x's I've seen would suit the drayman better than a lurcher man. mind Doxhope saying he got small greyhound bitches and his deerhounds were small, people still talk about them? think a big non ped scratch racer sire would produce a handy hound?

    my boss has a little border bitch that would be ideal for a fella with a gun or maybe a net, she's a real friendly sturdy type, a born moocher hunts up constantly. but she hasn't the legs for anything in the open and knows it, she's had plenty in cover/on fences but wont run stuff in the open now. Should of had a bit of running dog in her and less Wagg(she shits right by the cars lol)

    Think its just luck, the old Parti was a tit with other dogs his whole life and boss of our dogs till the day he died, yet the one he was reared next to was spot on and the dog that was reared next to him from same lines was perfect?
