  4. mind you looking for one, how did he settle and would you say he's any different from one you reared, cheers I had him when he was a young dog, about a year old, but gave him to someone at the time, due to family stuff, but got him back again as i regreted it big time when he was 6 . He remembered me and where he was, amazing, after all that time. If getting a pure however, i would personally recommend getting one from a pup, say 6 to 10 weeks old and bond with it. oh presumed he was new to you, that's quite touching, was prob a daft question but only ever got them as pups thanks for reply

  6. There's one near us real "doggy" swaggering around pissing everywhere scratching crap about with all four feet, Used to come blustering up untill my old dog grabbed him across the back and gave him a bit shake, he doesn't bother now

  8. Bump for the lad that just bought a adult?
  9. If he's distracted by game or your lovely biddable pup suddenly turns a deaf un you can do what you like its the dog that decides to come back, think its more important what you do after, if you pretend it never happened and praise him and continue to let him loose and have fun it should be fine, but if you show your bothered or restrict his fun it'll just get worse
  10. both her parents were off Charlie at a guess, handsome lad, they were advertised on here as pups
  11. My youngest turned a "deaf un" a bit as a pup, it was always on quick empty out/leg stretch walks at work, it was just her way of saying she hadn't been far enough
  12. Yep better off on the sofa, always kept mine inside, just don't like people knowing iv got them
  13. FFS and don't walk out your front door with your dog when there's a fu#king scrap man outside like iv just done, didn't ask if I had any scrap just about my useless dog FFS
  14. Nightmare that, watch where/when your lasses walk them, Back when I walked mine along the main road you'd get vans tippers stopping trying to sell you something then quizzing you about the dogs, weren't nasty like your two cu#ts but thinking back they could of just belted me and driven off with them
  15. personally wouldn't do that incase it made him worse. Like others said he's just keen, he'll learn he's more successful as part of a team in the end.
  16. Indeed,To bring a little normal conversation, I came from the same area and caught a little of the fall out from the Pere' David incident locally for a few years afterwards. In truth I thought it a bit sad taking enclosed deer that were extinct in the wild and almost so in captivity. they were half tame animals that would let you walk up to with yards. I was a little biased having links to the estate keepers, as in animal rather than game keepers, they were struggling to bring some genetic diversity and build numbers so had some of their work undone. I suppose people have different values i
  17. were around £400 off the dam, wonder what they've done in three month, secret training maybe
