  1. think it would be easier to use his mouth,
  2. the hare is bigger and faster and harder to catch during daylight than the rabbit, also has longer ears, just show this to your dog and he will be fine, you should have know more problems, unless he,s a saluki cross in which case a drawing will be easier,
  3. let me just get some popcorn, this is going to be interesting
  4. I,ve had some cracking runs on boilies and bolt rigs from trout when after a large carp that lived in a trout lake near me and trotting bread, down small streams, I would,nt hesitate to use bread, especially if people feed ducks there regularly,
  5. Well I have a knob like a horse and don't really care who see,s it but I'm banned from the unisex pool, because it's considered a trip hazard,
  6. you will get loads of better advice from more knowledgable types than me, but I would advise you run it over a chrony, and check its power first, A it costs little or nothing to do this, B it's most important to keep it within the legal limits, my AA started sounding a bit twangy going back a while, when I checked it on the chrony, some how it was putting out 17ftlb, after a little fettle and a bit of a service, back to 11.5 and quiet again, cost a couple of O rings and a couple of hours work, goodluck
  7. How else are you going to remove the fur you idiot I think you will find its feathers you idiot!!!!!!!. It's skin, the fur grows on the skin, the feathers grow on the skin, that's why you skin things both fur and feather, they are all covered in skin, or is a hedgehog covered in pricks?
  8. I remember one where they brought over some american trapper who looked at all the evidence. I think they went to some estate where the keeper swore he regularly saw them on the lamp and they set traps etc and found squat! There's just no evidence to support big cats roaming the UK and certainly no sustained populations. . There is loads of evidence if you are willing to look, the British big cat society has evidence dating right back to the 80's the guy at the frampton show has all the evidence you need including d,n,a and bone scrape samples, along with some cracking photos I,ve spoken
  9. . The argument that they are more familiar with their environment would be a good one, if it was not for the fact that one of the most accepting groups of people I have spoken to are from the farming community, and these people, live, work, eat, sleep and breath the countryside and don't just pop out on the weekend, sadly these same people are the types that don't really crave the limelight, tend not to carry the latest all singing mobile phone with camera and certainly don't spend there lives on the Internet, so although they are more than happy to tell you over a pint of scrumps, they won't
  10. The puma live trapped in Inverness in 1980 is said to of lived for several years in the wild. Descriptions of the animal had been circulating the area for several years.....which prompted a farmer to set a live trap. Breeding cats I find quite hard to believe, but it's true an individual could last for many years......after all, there are many reported sightings, they can't all be fantasists or can't tell the difference between a dog & a cat? I like to keep an open mind, I've never seen anything remotely cat-like myself, likewise I've never thought for a nano second that a black lab migh
  11. For future reference, if you have anything you think may be old or of value, simply find your nearest auction house and most do a free valuation day, about once a month or fortnight,
  12. maybe you should go down to Devon and put kitty back in its cage, you seem to have all the facts you need, should be a piece of cake, maybe if I stick lol on the end it will make it even more factual, ffs, I doubt there are a hundred packs left in England, and even if there is I doubt they look up trees were most cats go when pressed, but hey what do I know, as the saying goes ignorance is bliss,

  14. mate have a look at people shooting pheasants at night with catty,s on utube, I know it's not legal but as an example, the last thing birds want to do is fly at night, as they find it hard to land in the dark and are likely to break there neck, I have shot sack loads of feral,s at night, by just shooting rows of them off of the ledges and beams in the old grain stores, likewise with woodies have shot several off of one branch while the next one just sits there waiting for there turn,, maybe if it's done with regularity they get lamp shy like other animals, but in 35 years of lamping birds I ne
  15. the Americans are pretty big on slingshot hunting as they call it and a general rule they seem to use, is if you pass through a tin can you can kill an animal, I don't think they mean those paper thin Pepsi cans but a decent bean can or simular, but as long as you can hit em on the head, that's more important than pure power,
  16. any pics bird no mate, it was on the telly . i havent got the link to it Nothing to get excited about, a bit of cleavage that looks like a brickies arse crack, with a gob that would turn milk sour.. may.jpg could you imagine the offspring those two would produce, they,ve f****d a lot more of us than we,d ever get to in return, so for that reason I.m out
  17. . Hi mate couple of questions, what age is the , are you willing to post, (or are you allowed) ? And are there any sights involved in this deal, I,m not to worried about the cosmetics, as I,m after another project gun, cheers
  18. know I did, only joking, but my current lurcher was from a free add, he was 18 month old, three previous owners, never worked, (or walked judging by his lack of muscle) heavy bearded collie influence, from his appearance, 24 tts, another 18 months on he's now nice and stable, bit headstrong on the hunt, working well with my terriers and will take everything and anything, on his own, have had a few this way and all turned out ok, but I,m getting on, and have loads of time and patience for em, even the nauses,
  19. . Nice bit of kit you got there mate, how do you find shooting the pfs, I,m tempted ?
  20. So growing up with a Turkish lad makes you an expert what a knob.. Well I,m eating a Turkish delight, so if you need to know anything at all about turkey, feel free to ask
  21. Sounds like a normal new dog to me, either walk it until all it wants to do is sleep, or get yourself a cat
  22. And another tool for the powers that be, to track your every move, I'd still prefer the stick shaped like a gun I,m afraid
  23. thanks for that, my tree identification is very limited, cheers
  24. Could not say what wood it is but I have made a few and none of them have split I have a three foot stump, I will go and get a photo, it's a fair size tree that blew down across the road, the council chopped a lot of it up and dragged it back from the side of the road, so I go and harvest it in the winter, for my woodburner, some of the discs have split but it's usually straight away, I just burn them and keep the non split ones for clocks and door numbers,
  25. Don't want to say to much, but if it was scagheads, A they all know each other and what the others have been upto, B they all and I mean each and everyone of em, have a very high level of self preservation, and once isolated, they will sing like a canary, they would grass there nan up if it saved em a slap, you just need to get one away from the pack, goodluck. Should of also said, to keep an eye out on Facebook, you won't believe how thick they can be, just type your postcode in, and see what appears,
