  1. Mate if you have a go outdoors near you just go in there, it's know good making your mind up before hand as they have some monster discounts on certain brands, I bought a pair of walking boots last year and they were £150 everywhere else, but 50 percent off in go outdoors so cost £75 never heard of the make before, but I have had them for a season and given them some terrible abuse they are still water proof and comfy and look like they will last at least one more year if not three or four they are made by scarpa, my last pair were north face and they were also half price, so just pop in and s
  2. I'm a bit of an old technophobe mate so bare with me, but do you have to be on Facebook to do this,? If so could you put a link from here as I have not got a scooby doo about Facebook and as my name implies I like to stand back in the shadows and probably won't enter face book unless I live for another hundred years, plus I quite fancy a scout, if it's a prob know worry,s and good luck with the raffle and the show
  3. . In all honesty not great, my son seems to get on with it better but I think that's because he grabs it first, as he likes it, I did,nt get any fork hits so that's a plus, but I find myself still aiming rather than the one fluid motion, I don't think watching pfshooter on utube helps, because he makes it to easy, I also preferred it with flats on but my boy likes the tubes better, so I think I,ll just let him have this one and I,ll do myself another, as I have a crate of old paintbrush,s and it really is a ten minute job, will keep u posted
  4. The straight line on the first one gives it away,as there are know straight lines in nature,
  5. the problem with that is you have to dilute it with water and load it into a super soaker for best effect, or ask the other dog and its owner to hold still and look upwards while you pour a drop into the eye, it's all about having a good reason to carry it,IE you can keep a big iron jack handle down the side of your truck seat, as long as you have the trolley jack it came from in the truck or a baseball bat as long as you have a ball and or a catchers glove, it's just common sense, if you walk into a nightclub with a knife, your a wrong un, if you go ferreting with a knife it's fine, it basica
  6. Am I watching the same vid as everyone else, as all I saw,was a goose shot, a dog bark then the end know swimming know retrieving nothing?
  7. I have had a bit of a urge to give the old pfs a go lately but did not want to spend anything on it in case it was not for me,plus as mentioned else ware I,m having a bit of a love affair with the hathcock target sniper at the mo, so as a plasterer I have loads of old rotten paint brushes in the bottom of my tool box, and last week a lightbulb moment came to me, I just pulled the metal band and bristles off and was left with an almost finished pickle fork, cut a small groove in the middle ten minutes of sanding and hey presto, this was what I was left with
  8. excactly that mate mob handed shithouses, who survive solely on reputation and intimidation with very little substance,
  9. and carry,s the same sentence as an illegal firearm, prison time has to be balanced with financial gain and five years of your life over a dog scrap = waste of time, also the actions of someone with know bottle, If your dog is attacked a swift clout with the walking stick job done if the owner of said dog gets a bit choppsie and in your face, then another good whack in self defence, because you were in fear of your life, once again job done know one is going to prison and next time you see them they will either have the dog on a lead or go a long way round to avoid you, it's not all about scorin
  10. A walking stick isn't an offensive weapon mate. Maybe with the spikes I posted above they could be, but they are walking spikes so I'm not sure. "Offensive weapon - made, intended or adapted to cause injury." . You can carry a baseball bat as long as you have a ball as well,
  11. I don't know what the law is on this but if it's legal, a friend of mine had a male sparrow hawk fly into the window were he works, it died instantly so he stuck it in the freezer, and would like it mounted, would anyone like to do it I could put you in touch, it's in Bristol if that makes any difference
  12. Youth of today, what ever happened to just wiping with your hand and washing it in the sink, they just don't know what there missing out on
  13. They definitely can enforce them. It just depends how you go about it as to the outcome. they have know legal rights or power, and the worst thing you can do is enter any form of dialog with them, don't speak to them by phone and don't write to them, everytime you do they build up a bit more knowledge about you by asking for your details, these people are just bullying chancers, ignore it 100 percent and nothing will come of it, the first thing they do is ask for your name just to confirm there speaking to the right person, in truth they don't know who you are as they have not got access t
  14. I hope you don't have to be a kid to build a den, as I'm halfway through making one myself, I am in my mid 50s but still love to sleep outdoors a few nights every year, have done almost my whole life, I just need a more comfy bed these days
  15. nice one mate just had a little gander on that site and in the video section the bloke has the same smoker I just bought, makes it even simpler to follow will be getting an order off this week, next month when I start chopping logs for winter, I will have all the wood chips I need for a smokey winter, cheers for the Link
  16. That is sweet, I,ve knocked up a quick plain one but I still don't seem to get on with it, plus I,m loving the bill hays target sniper a bit much at the mo, keep em coming you obviously have a talent
  17. Just In case anyone else is to lazy like me to make one I just bought this little bad boy off woucher for about £30 Barbie and smoker retail £120 sweet,
  18. Can't really disagree with you walshie, but everyone knows that the catty is as yet a very grey area in hunting and still seen in the eyes of the law as a toy, most people that hunt with a catty are in general aware of this and are hopefully sensible enough to carry on unnoticed and undetected, but I guess it gets on people's tits when someone who walks among them, as one of them, starts playing self appointed policeman, and only really joined in to cause shit, not because he had anything constructive to add, so that's why the insults I guess, also there have been a lot of assumptions made her
  19. just takes me straight to Facebook log in mate, and as I am nothing to do with the site can't look, maybe better going through utube, so everyone can view, but don't take my word for that cause I,m technically wanting,
  20. Bristol North Somerset area, low numbers for a few years, just start getting numbers back up and caught my first infected rabbit last week,
  21. I seem to be getting the feeling that you are a rather keen shooter and your main concern here is those pesky peasants have been at your birds again with there catty,s, I recon the original post would still be up if you had,nt came along to question the legality of it all, there are enough gamekeepers and busy body's trying to film everything and ruin things for us without doing it to each other, he shot one poxy pigeon the most prolific bird in the uk responsible for thousands of £ in damages,it's a brilliant achievement with a fork stick bit of elastic and and a tongue from a boot, YOU DO N
  22. . Last week they were paying £25 a ton round me, I know because I to am one of those people, everyone loves to hate because I drive round in a 1996 transit tipper with massive greedy boards up the sides and rummage through skips, the loose metal just covers the cost of my diesel, it's all the electric motors, wiring looms and bits of copper and brass inside the stuff that makes the money plus all the good stuff I flog on eBay, I,m also a plasterer so I get loads of stuff from the houses I refurb and just pick stuff up outside of houses on my way to and from work it's a win win for me, whatever
  23. Looks great there Greyman any chance of explaining the tube method again and where do you get the tubing from?? Also if you hear of anywhere I can get the latex from outside the US let me know..!Once you have tried TTF you won't go back to anything else. sorry it's been a while, but here are a couple of pics how I fit my pouches using tube, it's 4mm latex tubing I get on eBay from China, it's really good stuff, cut a little bit off, push onto long nose pliers, wedge a bit of wood in the handle to open the tube, then just push your flats through the tube through the pouch then back out throug
  24. the grounds man on my local pitch is a bit of a little hitler and is at constant war with the local dog walking set, it's got to the point were he padlocks all the gates shut and the dog walkers bolt crop em open again, and the other week after another row with a dog walker, the bloke returned with a bag of dogs shit and threw it all over the grounds mans car, it's proper pooh wars down there f,a,f
