    You can get battery operated warmer feeders, and use rechargeable battery's, or put in a protected battery heat lamp

    Went out with the lamp 4 days ago, tripped on a rabbit hole and smashed my shoulder. Hairline fracture not just the dogs that can get hurt. lol

    There is a lot left to interpretation, in the description of a dog picking it’s runs, and a big difference between jacking and cold quitting, I will say this much, I can call my dogs off a rabbit sitting 400 yards away on a burrow when they take off, but if it was closer to than 50, not a chance. Is that picking their runs? If it is I’m glad they do, or they would be dead from heat stroke or exhaustion, by mid day, literally running them self’s to death. An old saying. Wake up Australia, Tasmania is floating away!

    Well done mate. I only ever work hobs in their first year before they get to strong and fast, I have used Jills for over 40 years, and have never had a problem with them. each to their own but I have had better results with Jills, mainly because we can't dig in most areas, so the more that can pull away and bolt the better.
