  4. Done a bit myself today was a great day, I love getting out with the dogs and ferrets can't get enough of it, well done Trev
  5. Had young Fleet out ferreting today, the dogs caught a young rabbit, then dropped it to chase a another one, fleet retrieved it to hand. very happy how he is going. will post a video of the day soon.
  6. My pet German shepherd caught more than those nets, got a whippet for my 12 th birthday, happy days
  7. We used onion bags and hay bale string as kids, and they were almost useless lol

  9. Hey Guy’s was out again yesterday with Jonesy, Kass, Zip, a box of ferrets , a longnet and some purse nets, we headed out to Dave’s sheep paddock to do a fence line, I haven’t done for awhile. We had a great day out in the field, the scenery was fantastic, managed to get a few rabbits, caught up with Dave and his neighbour Sherel ( yep that’s how she spells it) got a new permission that has been on my radar, so all in all a very good day Hope you enjoy the video.   13. No she is whippet x deerhound,/greyhound (Australian staghound) Sire is deerhound,/greyhound (Australian staghound) Will make anywhere between 20 /30 tts - the sire is a big boy

In a recent post I put up, I met up with a guy called Jonesy who I took out with me to give a few tips on ferreting; he asked about the type of dog I would recommend, I said hard to go wrong with a whippet stag x mate, he just picked up this little 9 week old beauty, from working stock from a mobile butcher in Bendigo, great looking bitch pup, he will be out with me again this Thursday, will be good to get a good look at it.   17. Once you do you won't go back, I have both never touch the traditional anymore, bare in mind most of the stuff I do I drive almost on top of them, not much walking involved these days I'm spoiled for choice

  19. We have always considered them inbred and a dying breed over here, something to be tolerated for humanitarian reasons, a bit like Tasmanians. Just saying
