  4. Great to watch, thz for sharing, been doing ok with the light lately, another month before it starts cooling down 40 deg tomorrow
  5. More of a good thing than a bad thing being keen, some people would pay good money to bottle that for their dogs, just got to be aware that thats one of his traits, can't blame a dog for having a prey drive so high that he can't help himself no matter the consequence, it can be annoying but I understand it.
  6. Don't worry about it found a few pics of her Nice bitch
  7. Scary stuff mate, heart in your mouth, it happens learn from it, put him on the lead there from now on.
  8. Had a look can't find a post with a picture of her. Any chance you have a picture or a link to one? Cheers
  9. It’s usually a pup thing, easily corrected with repetitive discouragement , had a few do this in their youth, including the bitch I have now it’s nothing.
  10. Not sure this might be it. I enjoyed both anyway
  11. Yep no doubt, the whippets take some beating, if you get the good stuff, I hear people slag them off, makes me laugh. My last pure bred ran until he was 10, took him out till he was 13 had to put him down in the end. I have a ¾ whippet x deerhound/greyhound already, she is no world beater, but very sound, and a handy dog, she is 2 yr old now, lost count of the rabbits she’s taken, magic in the light. This new pup is from the same family, the whippet line especially has been generationally bred for the right reasons and the mum as said was special, I have had running and hunti
  12. Thz mate I'll try pick a hairy one, usually one or two in her litters
  13. Thz mate. The males will be between 21 -23 usually with her past litters, good thing is have seen previous litters from these two, so I know what to expect, Mum stamps herself a bit so it’s all good Ray, here is a 6 month old pup from last litter PS Nothing wrong with a WELL BRED whippet, the Father and his line are renowned for their good feet.
  14. Will only get better, doing well ATB
  15. Thz mate, should be ok, see a few of this line run, a few good ones amongst them.
  16. Let me guess, you have busses that can’t turn or accelerate off the mark, break down on hard ground, and get their joy from chasing in circles until out of puff, then watch the rabbit disappear into the distance. Seen it all before Johnny come lately, harry has been or Wally wanna be. F O
  17. I just put in an order for a male pup( I will get first choice ) from this litter, pups will be 7/8 whippet 1/8 stag (deerhound greyhound) I know the parents well, and both are great hunting dogs for rabbits, she will drop any day. I can’t wait. PS this is what you need Socks
  18. I do a bit of this mixed in with the nets, I miss more than I catch, but I never tire of this. Love it
  19. The first Couple for the day I have to hurry or Kass may just eat them whole LOL She crunches the first couple, once thats out of her system she settles down and doesnt chew them that bad, Zip brings them back alive when given the chance, usually in the light.
  20. One of the things I take pleasure in is watching their teamwork , Kass is a bit of a bully and once caught she claims the prey and takes it, it’s only in the past month Zip (now 2 yr old) is starting to take a few back, mainly she takes off with it before Kass steals it, fun to watch. When they work heavy cover its great kass bushes, and Zip waits just outside the cover as they move along. brilliant.
