  2. Nothing Like An Office With A View Was out with Jonesy last week at a new property with stunning scenery, we got stuck waiting on a couple of burrows and lost two ferrets in the process, we feared the worst ,and thought they were snake bit given the location they were lost. That day we had a good look around and found some nice warrens for future trips, it wasn’t all bad news we did manage to get a few rabbits. The next morning I was out early to look for the two lost ferrets, within one hour they were in the ferret box, and as happy to see me as I was to see them again. I used t

  10. I’m not sure how true this is, but there is a rumour if you go far enough south, the rabbits have mixi all year round, and they are all so inbred you can’t really tell if it’s the mixi or mutations
  11. Just a quick clip of some of my ferrets feeding, and my new boy Dozer. Jonesy rang me yesterday and said he was having issues with Dozer being aggressive again, and I offered to keep him as I have grown quite fond of him in the time I worked with him, and he is a good type. I accessed him thoroughly see if I could get him to show me any type of aggression, none what so ever.

  17. He is fine mate, another few days you will never know he ever bit anyone, he likes people you can tell the way he runs over to play, a lot of tame ferrets don't even do that, he is still young too, if you seen him two weeks ago many would of put him down.
  18. I have a philosophy about ferrets like him, be a firm as you need to be, and as gentle as you can be, once they stop fighting, the rest is easy with his problem.
  19. Not anymore! Two weeks ago Jonesy had a savage ferret that he left with me for a couple of weeks , this ferret was as fierce as I have ever seen , I would put my hand in the cage and he would charge over and lock on, the first time he bit right through a leather glove, drew blood and left me a scar. This is Dozer now.
  20. Good luck with him mate. A.T.B
