  1. On Father’s day just gone, my Daughter, Brian, and her dog Gemma came up for a couple of days over the weekend, on the Sunday we packed the ferrets, her dog, and my young pup Fleet in the car and headed out to one of my permissions. The weather was fantastic and we managed to get a few rabbits, and give the dogs a few runs as well, it make me smile knowing she feels the same way I do out in the field, another great day full of laughs and excitement was had. Below are a few snaps from the day.
  2. Been taking him out sparingly for awhile now, once he hits 12 months I'll start him in the light if he looks ready. he is a nut job ( natural )
  3. Back out at Micks place again today, doing what I do, a great day was had by all concerned, and we bagged the odd one or two. ?
  4. Never knew you were a shepherd, nothing like penning the sheep faster I suppose. ?
  5. Mine too zip was the runt now 21.5 tts biggest of that litter including the males and the only long hair, so I hear ya, its the knuckles that can tell you a bit when you have seen a few pups.
  6. If you get to pick, take the runt for that work, usually smaller burst faster, and turn quicker. happy days
  7. A.T.B for your coming season mate, at least the Mrs is out numbered, by you and the kids. ?
  8. Is there anything better than getting out in the field doing what you love? Was out again with my mate Big Kev the other day, the weather was great and the rabbits were bolting, so another fantastic day was had by man and beasts.
  9. I was out again today at Micks (one of my permissions), the weather was fantastic, and we managed to catch a few rabbits which is always a bonus, I did take the camera and will upload the video once I edit it, got some great footage. Here is a little snippet of some of the action. PS left the pup Fleet at home.

  16. Took the dogs and the ferrets out yesterday with a mate off mine, big Kev, weather was fantastic and another great day in the field was had. PS Young Fleet coming along a treat.
  17. This is my latest pup now 7 mths old, he is now as keen as any dog Ive owned . I take mine out from about three months too, every pup is different so their management can be too, just try to not let them over do it, and for the first 12 months I use the whippet type sparingly.
  18. Fleet 6 months hasn't done a lot yet, plenty of drive looking like he might be ok.
  19. No thank God, not like over there anyway.
