I was back out at Fred's today, a few ferrets, and a dog, what more could a man want, yet another great day in the field.

I had a visit from my mate Kev today we chopped some firewood and went down to the river for a few hours. Great day. P.S no fish

I took a trip out to Feds property today, to catch up and take a look around, in preparation for next week. I will be spending quite a bit of time there over the next week or two.

Went out for a bit of a fish just up the road today, nothing I enjoy more than getting out and about in the bush with the dogs, and ferrets, or relaxing by the river with a few rods in the water. a very enjoyable day indeed.

Kelly contacted me via social media, and asked me to come out and run the ferrets through a couple of holes, before they backfilled the burrows with the bobcat, we only got the one, but we had a lot of fun.

Australians, we call them staghounds they are one of the most popular breeds over here, and make reasonable all rounders if you get the mix right. I think because our deerhounds have been bred for many generations primarily for hunting, is why they are still old school type here.
