  1. Found some pope fish in a puddle next to the Thames
  2. No that would be ilegal. However story's of deer, fox and hare coursing pre ban of course. Would be good to hear and chat about. Just a thought if it can be separate then we can post our old pre ban story's etc. W
  3. As title really just so we can talk about quarry that was once legal and above board.
  4. Been out with the dogs with a few travellers god they had a lot permission Always walking land like they owned it bold as brass, except for one night my mate was flattened by a disco and left with a few broken bones. Still bold as brass but won't go on that land anymore

    Log burner

Calor gas bottles make neat burners lots on you tube about them simple to make.
  6. Only thing is episode 7 don't work something to do with music copyright. That was last week on you tube when I watched it. Johnsons seem a likable bunch
  7. Poor old rabbit really up against it at this moment in time. Myxi , vhd which was wicked killing all the adult rabbits. Vhd2 now that shows no discrimination between young and old and kills the lot. Booming badger population digging up the young, hawks buzzards kites all being reintroduced. Don't look good for poor old cottontail
  8. IMHO your bang on with that one Casso.
  9. I was asked, apparently the NHS is backed by mason dough. 275 a year to join then you do a bit of acting, a few beers after for mutual back scratching. Dinner for you and Mrs once or twice a year. I said I'll think about it that was a year or more ago.
  10. I never knew he was so popular. The mans had a tough life from what I have been told.
  11. What's not to like ? Does everything a lurcher should, apart from what he told lol.

    Carmen

Carmen as in the opera ? Halfway through Judas pig. Quite a gritty funny read
  15. Nice pictures mate, it never ceases to amaze me when my lad takes off on something the amount land that's covered in seconds often difficult terrain to cover as well. I find a lot of pleasure in watching them work whether they catch or not. I guess a really experienced lurcherman ( which I'm not) can read a dog like a book. If that's the case then I think i might suffer from dog dyslexia. Lol Every season whether there's a lot of game about or not is always an enjoyable (mostly) learning experience. Cheers
  16. Nice one Terry, as much as I like the adrenaline fuelled walks the relaxing "normal " type of dog walk are a pleasure. If far and few between
  17. He's a wrong'un candidate

    Weed ;)

No wonder my lungs are Donald ducked, first hash I had was red leb, minali spelling ? Fluffy pollen rocky black soap ( with added diesel ) and a few others that I can't remember. Grass was known as flat pack, or we went to notting hill or front line brixton for senseed ? Or badly cured home grown locally. Guess it was better than glue or lighter fluid. All the positives for your health except your lungs take a hammering. Now if I could buy in a Vape form then I might be tempted, just a matter of time before its readily available.:)
  19. The brindle bitch is apparently a good example of a tumbler according to breeder, she 22tts quite heavy build. Works well enough. I'll be f****d if I know why tumbler she just a lurcher in my eyes, or as breeder likes to call them a stealth poachers dog of old.:)
  20. Found this fascinating stuff Though the summer solstice has not played a major role in the history of Christianity or Judaism, unaware to most, several summer solstice traditions have been passed down through the millennia. The most notable in Christianity, which occurs during the summer and winter solstices, are the births of John the Baptist and Jesus of Nazareth. According to tradition, John the Baptist’s birthday occurs on June 24th, which is the point when the sun visibly begins descent from its pinnacle during the summer solstice.
  21. Foxing dogs are a thing of the past now fella. Few in Ireland where still legal. All lurchers bred in this country are bred for rabbit.
