That's the way to go, prey drive and natural instincts are in most of these dogs and is easy to bring out in them, what's hard is getting their attention and bonding making eye contact is a good way so they look to you for everything,which takes time and a lot of patients, but get it right and you will end up with a dog that's Hassel free and will give you long good service.
  5. I do have a Burrell dog I can only go on what I have seen. I am no expert, he came from my mates bitch that was proper marking at 6 weeks and turned out to be a real good worker, so when he bred I had one cost me a oner and works everything to the point it becomes a pain in the arse cus he don't stop working He now 16 month 25tts and tough as old boots.

  12. Well its OK if you like pidgeon ,dog brings the most to the table and that would be less without the ferret's it all comes from team work really mate. Most satisfying to knock down the odd pidgeon with catapult
  13. Hi all reading this forum has been most informative to say the least very interesting. I have a working dog and ferret's, that have taken up my Sundays for the past few years its like my new found religion. Most days walking dog with with a catty in pocket and manage to feed my family most weeks without buying meat from shops which I like a lot Best regards and happy hunting everyone
