  1. I know loads of them through local sport here, all drive new/newish vans, cars, all blinged out wit gold rings, chains, not one of these fu@ckers ever worked a day in there lives, able to carry wads of cash, maybe not all thieves but vast majority get there money illegally.
  2. This is why nobody in the dog game tells the truth, people come out the woodwork to hammer yea, if he wasn't happy to keep the dog with the given condition then he done the right thing, he didn't come on here looking for advice, he consulted the breeder and other local terrier men and made a decision, end of. Too many know it all types on here.
  3. when they are 400 miles away in lille? Lol, read it wrong, not this evening, but did happen.
  4. Some web sites reporting that Russian and English have joined ranks to take on the local hooligans this evening in Marseille.
  5. Would the the discovery of alien life have any bearing on someone's belief, there is an estimated 30 billion planets in our galaxy(the Milky Way), and there is an estimated 100 billion galaxy's out there, it would be very naive to think we are not alone. Like I said in a previous post, humans have only been here 100,000 years or so, and to believe in any/all religion that is man made up by people/monkeys that had not long climbed down from the trees is a true reflection of ones insecurity. It's a nice feeling to think an invisible being is watching over us or that our deceased loved ones are i
  6. After dying the body still passes wind/farts for ages, nearly sure this is to do with the shut down of the organs and intestines and so releasing chemicals, surly the same with the brain?
  7. God gave us free will, once you follow his rules lol, not very free. If the earth is billions of years old and the universe older, then why did God wait so long to create us considering we've only been here for 100,000 years or so, and where are all the miracles and wonders that were in the Old Testament go, vanished with evolution of intellect maybe? i genuinely tried to believe and have faith but there are too many question marks and proofs to continue. The Ten Commandments, divine or not is a good enough set of rules to live by, what will be will be in the end.
  8. Raw egg or spoonful of olive oil if out of eggs every 3 or 4 days does the job, raw fish also if available.
  9. Yep, jumping is a must for me, I do know some lads though that refuse to let a dog jump, these lads out most nights during season and maybe only have one dog(for lamping), they say they can't afford to have dog laid up cos of barbed wire, 5 or 10 seconds is all it takes to life a dog over, also refuse to turn on a light crossing fences/ditches to show dog any obstacle for fear of alerting quarry of their presence. I have a whippet that will jump but I don't let her as she has already cost me a fortune lol, paper thin skin. Nice pics btw.
  10. Why don't you try a candle in a jam jar.Lantern-6-Candle-645x429.jpgAnd a handle for you.so you can climb over 5 bar gates with out burning your fingers. Come on boys get with the times f**k your led get one of these beast and out shine the rest Mary . Yor full of shit there cracking little lamps perfect for a quick mooch fits in a back pack with a couple of bunnys what more could you want for 50 quid Lol, perfect for s quick mooch alright, that's all you'll get with it, might get one run per field with your flood light, you get what you pay for and any serious lamper spending as little
  11. Lol, no one tells the truth in the dog game. A video would be great, I heard all the lads raving about a new lamp out last winter, cheap, wireless, last forever, I was going to get one based on hear say, then I got to see one in action, it was the worst lamp i ever seen, way way too bright, only for lads afraid in the dark, definitely not for low key work.
  12. Get a video up of the lamps in use, anyone can write a good report when looking money.
  13. I know it's still very cold at the moment, but after cubbing early and with a good run of weather and good supply of food, would these foxes breed again in the same year?
  14. Neil, why do remove the wings? Is it same reason as fox tail?
  15. A man I know had this problem, dog next door constantly barking day and night, made his life hell, but he said he got it sorted, I asked him what did he do, he said he bought the dog and tied it in his own garden and said lets see how they like it.
  16. What's the other dogs waiting for, an invitation? And probably another one dropped for the camera, didn't show the chase.
  17. 2nd and 3rd kill came out of the same break, one ran straight into 3 waiting dogs while the other had a pack right up on it, definitely released out of a pen or cage, dropping quarry for the camera, some things never change lol.
  18. Bit expensive for a dog that has a high probability of being lost to ground like any digging dog, better to have two separate dogs with specific tasks, one for cover and one for earth work. Not nice to pay 900 and lose dog on its 3rd or 4th dig.
  19. My lurcher will retrieve live to hand but would mangle a rabbit with mixi, rags the shit out of it. Out of interest, does anybody feed mixi rabbits to dogs, ferrets? I don't but was told that it would be fit for human consumption if boiled, still wouldn't chance it though.
  20. Not too many multi holed dens being excavated nowadays due to the fact that they don't get a chance, most foxes accounted for are still at a relatively young age, I'm sure loads will come on now and say they are digging older foxes regularly, but between the dog gun snare and any other means the odds are stacked against them, I know of and have witnessed multi holed badger setts being established in recent years because they have that freedom to do so( mind you I live in one of the worst affected tb hot spots in Ireland), jmo, do you think they get a chance?
  21. Is dog on right hand side of 1st pic in 1st post carrying or rearing pups?
  22. No scanner lol, just curious as I looked at a dog for sale yesterday but looked a lot older than than the age given. Didn't buy but got me thinking.
  23. Anyway to tell a dogs age without actually knowing? Like looking at a horses teeth maybe, something like that?
  24. Law now in Ireland yeah? Who polices it? Do you get 21 days here to sort it if caught?
  25. Is there any new breed/type in the pipeline anywhere, is there room/work for the development of a new breed, have people settled on the fact that the black dog is the pinnacle of earth dogs? What about the the mighty Russell or border or glens, assigned to the history books in favour of the mighty black, will he ever be surpassed?
