    One of the guys on Airgun forum has bought the first Impact in the UK and is getting a .177 barrel to go with the .22 gun. It looks to be a very advanced piece of kit, he had the first Wildcat as well and rates that very highly as well. Phil

    To be honest Doncaster is hit by Sheffield/Rotherham shooters both airgun but more so shotgun lads so you may have quite a lot of competition there. If I still lived in South Yorks, I would agree with a earlier suggestion and look outside the box, as an example around Wheatley rd industrial areas near the river/canal as I have fished for pike there so rats are deffo on the cards, I know that I have seen plenty of them and companies could be interested in getting rid of them. Worth a thought.... Phil

    It has to be said however that Simon (pianoman) is a remarkable shot and even though he is left handed, he shot my TX 200HC right handed gun at 35mt and still put 4 pellets one on top of the other.................................impressed the hell out of me I can tell you, a different story when I shot though Phil

    Yet another load of crap from Dayslap. You really have to wonder what is the percentage of decent rifles Vs useless crap. They should be taken to court for their attitude when they supply product not fit for purpose and at crazy prices offering NO customer support. It would not be tooooo bad if the guns were cheap stuff but when they charge top dollar, it's a joke. I'm glad you have a plan in place Simon with the right bloke. Phil

    Having seen first hand what an incredible shot pianoman, Simon, is and what he is able to do wth my TX let alone his own HW springers, made me quickly change my opinion of what a springer can acheive. The SPRINGER IN THE RIGHT HANDS IS EVERY BIT AS ACCURATE AS A PCP. The reality however is that IMO few people are CONSISTANTLY as good with a springer as they are with a PCP. PHIL

    I wonder if they are strong enough to run on a springer because I am going to need another scope for the Rapid and may use my Varmint from the TX so will need a replacement but cannot afford to buy another £200_300 scope in the short term. This one is no good for the Rapid as I doubt I will be able to get the nv add on to fit with the IR control. Phil

    There are quite a few scopes on ebay which have been bought by various people on another forum which have been a good purchase. What seems to happen however sometimes is the consistency of manufacture that has cause issues for some. The scope shown here looks to be great value for money if the glass is decent. Phil

    I look forward to trying these out when my dear wife get down the 1500 AA Field she has in stock. I do wonder why the .177 version does not have the same following as in the world of .22, is it the fact that in 177, it is too light and more prone to cross winds. Phil
