  1. The problem with this Sean is that unless you can really make people aware of the big benefit of the Huma reg and the fact that each mag is around £45 for the Streamline. You have to itemize EVERY aspect of the gun down to the last degree to get the price but whatever, it is not likely to get what it is valued at matey which is a shame. If it were me, I would put it on at £745 but I know just how good FX guns are and that is what you have to get across Sean. Good luck with it. Phil
  2. Those HW100 do look well in the green stock versions, nice shooting as well BN Phil
  3. Quote :- ' My son in law bought an Air Arms 400 for £355 with two mags ' Sorry, I should have said a 410 not a 400 but the value is similar. Phil
  4. My son in law bought an Air Arms 400 for £355 with two mags which I guess is a fair price but the Daystate rifles are not so easy to price because they don't enjoy a good reputation but cost a lot. The company have a really bad reputation for sorting any issues with their guns by either saying the fault is ALWAYS your fault even on new rifles and secondly the guns quite often come back with the faults still remaining which is why many people will not buy them at all or at a well reduced price. If I were to buy one of your Daystates, I would not pay a penny over £300 simply because if I ha
  5. Without doubt Si BUT as long as we pull the trigger and enjoy the process, then all is well with the world. I may swear like fcuk when I miss the easy ones but so what. Phil
  6. When we have another get together on the clay club this time and I will do my best to get you lads breaking a few clays so you are ready for next time on the real pigeons and if nothing else we can all have a good laugh. Phil
  7. Take no notice of Sean, just because the Pulsar 355 won't fit his Streamline ...............................? Joking apart, the big advantage over the Ultra is the shot count and when out ratting, you can get through quite a few shots. I did use an ultra once but had to fill the bugger up twice so no good to me. The Scorpion might be a different thing however but both the Ultra and Scorpion benefit greatly from having a reg fitted. My pal has a 110 which seems to be on the nose all night so I am guessing the new little brother will be the same. I believe Mitch has also found the 110 to be
  8. Thanks but we are in North Lincolnshire so a bit out of the way that one, don't have an issue if it is someone on here but not keen on going a couple of hours and it turn out to be either a croc of crap or a con job which has happened before. Phil
  9. I had a play with it at the show on Saturday, the balance is superb with all the weight firmly between your hands and is on my list, in fact my local RFD has one coming in for me or at least I have first refusal on it. Phil
  10. I bought one a while ago, more to check my position than a need for one BUT it was loose on the rifle so it went in the bin if I recall. Save your money. Phil
  11. I really thought you would have left the show with one in your bag Sean and who would blame you, not me, envy, oh yes but not blame. ?
  12. Only just seen this, well done on your choice. I have been shooting Beretta guns for over 40 years using a DT10 32" sporter which is the best gun I have ever owned including Browning, Miroku and Perazzi. I really hope you enjoy your new gun and hope it puts the same smile on your face as mine does every time I use it. Phil
  13. Got to agree, that 355 was really very nice indeed and I would love one. My right eye is not as good as it used to be BUT the image was super clear even in my crappy eye, all we need now is dosh......................... Thank you for those nice words Shaun or is it Sean, sorry if I used the wrong one. Phil
  14. Thanks Mitch. I replied to your PM Phil
  15. I popped in to show my shooting partner the stunning HW97 I picked up from Jimmy for another pal of mine. My shooting partner announced that his son wants a PCP for xmas as he is fed up with Co2 rifles so fellas anybody got a nice ultra, Scorpion or something suitable for this 16 year old who is a very handy shot already. At this moment I do not have a budget from him but thought I would simply put it out to you guys and see what turned up. Phil
  16. The truth can be so hurtful Mitch ...................................?
  17. Should have read :- ' spilled coffee over myself and my wife ' Someone switched on predictive text on my tablet, hate predictive text, now can't find how to turn it off..................................fcuking technology ......................?
  18. Thanks for letting me know Donny. Phil
  19. Whilst this event is not a patch on the Northern Shooting Show, it is well placed for a get together and today was no exception and it was great to meet up with Jimmy, Shaun and Si. Trish was pleased to see you lot as well. I spilt coffee all overnight myself and my wife................That went down well. I really loved the new HW110 k and what luck, so did Trish ooooh that's handy. Very nice to shoulder and will make a cracking ratter although the boys didn't much like it. Look forward to seeing the boys next time. Phil
  20. Not tried the Mk11 Mitch so will have to get some and try them out. The results certainly look very good. I am used to the AA Field .25 which have done kills out beyond 100mts but these might be better in a breeze with the weight advantage as the AA can be a bit flighty at times. I do still have 100yd chicken shed envy though Mitch. Phil
  21. I bought the 5-15 x 50 version earlier this year and popped it on my rimmy. Very very pleased with it and I have found I can go much longer into the evening gloom without NV using this scope. Very crisp image and mainly using x8 mag, only wish I had bought two Simon while there was £100 off the price, then one for the Impact fac and the other staying on the rimmy. Only down side is that it could do with a sun shade for the Nitesite add-on because it get a slight flair of IR light and with a shade it would be perfect. Phil
  22. Awsome Mitch but as already said, the cost of peanuts is insane. We just made some feeders and am going to mix the nuts with maze and seed to make it go much further. should still do the trick. Phil
