  4. I have just put in a PM Jimmy, I am happy to tell my pal that the gun is no longer available for whatever reason I choose if you have even the slightest doubt about selling it. I REALLY MEAN THAT JIMMY Phil
  5. I have a few different pellets including H&N which was not in the same league as JSB and although the Heavy is very popular in the US, they didn't compare with the AA. You have the perfect opportunity Mitch with your 100yd shed to really establish performance without wind effect, not that I am envious................not fcuking much...... If you want a few different pellets, let me know and I will sort some for you. Mine is running at 47fpe at full power but as my Combro doesn't like fac speeds, I don't know what fps she is running at. I need to see about a new chrono at some poi
  6. Fcuking typical, none fit, might need to buy one at the show. See you there Si
  7. Cheeky young whipersnapper Si, just because you have age on your side ...................................... twat. ? Thanks for the explicit measurement, I should just about work that one out now wheres my bit of string to see what bags I have in the garage. Phil
  8. No Jimmy, gunslip/bag to put the rifle in to take back with me. How long is the rifle not the sling please. Phil
  9. Not as nice looking as yours Mark. That trigger guard is nasty and the whole thing looks cheap, not a classic like the ones you own matey. Phil
  10. What is the total length and I will look to see if I have a spare gunslip as springers tend to be longer than my rifles. Phil
  11. Thanks Jimmy, I have been looking in the wrong place as you said you were posting in the hunting section. ? Phil
  12. oooohh now that is rather nice, I also have never seen one. Phil
  13. I fully intended buying a spare .22 barrel set for my .25 Impact as well Alan but to be very honest, I have not needed the other barrel so never bothered. My pal is looking at a .25 with a spare .177 barrel which he is not interested in at all so depending what the price breakdown is, I could be interested in that which will throw out a .177 at 16fpe. Might be interesting and of course I should be able to turn the power down to 12fpe with no problem if required, just food for thought. Phil
  14. Two problems we found with the .17HMR, firstly it will turn a rabbit inside out so only mush left on the ground and secondly, you cannot shoot quietly as the round is too fast to be able to shoot with stealth. My pal bought one ahead of me and whilst I have .17HMR and a .22 magnum on ticket, I really cannot see me getting one. They are very popular but I really don't see them being much use on my perms even though we thought the .17HMR would be very useful. I have been very surprised how light and superbly well balanced the Crown is Mitch, you are going to love it mate. When tim
  15. No I don't Tim but I also had a long chat with them at a show as I was thinking of getting a MEC reloader because both my wife and myself shoot clays along with me on the pigeon / crows so I thought it would be cheaper to reload as I did many years ago. To be honest on normal cartridges, there is no cost advantage and the savings only come in when you load specials or steels or small gauge so we did not proceed any further but it is not completely thrown out. Phil
  16. I take on board what you and Mark said Jimmy and funnily enough my shooting partner and I have said enough is enough. We can just handle what we have but taking on more would be not the wisest thing to do so that decision is made. Phil
  17. Ah not a million miles away then.
  18. Thanks for the offer, I will bear you in mind. What part of Lincolnshire are you based. Phil
  19. Last week I was chatting to one of the farmers and he happened to mention his friend was having issues with rabbits and his land is right next to another perm we have, a phone call later and a short meeting, job done but this one is going to be a cracker as time goes by and quite a size, about 1200 acres. A day later a lady got in touch with my shooting partner asking if we could sort a few rabbits out for her. She has a caravan compound with a huge warren in the next field, the rabbits are all over at night so number two perm sorted. The very next day, I get a phone call as this cha
  20. You did the best thing my old pal. Phil
  21. I think he sold it for £10 which I will be happy to send to you in order to buy the gun...........................................................only joking. I like the look of that very much but I would hold on to it as it will only go up in value if in perfect working order. Phil
  22. I think we are going to have some serious talking when you come down to the South Yorks Shooting show Jimmy old fella.......... Phil
