  1. If you can de solder the speaker first it makes it easier . You can get stuff call solder wick which is copper braid you place this next to the switch leg on the opposite side of board to the switch put your soldering iron on top of the wick this should draw the solder out of the hole, one by one. If no solder wick you could cut each leg as high as you can then hold the very top where you cut with small nose point pliers hold soldering iron on the leg other side and as you heat pull gently. You have to try and clear the holes of solder may be some striped electrical flex with some flux on it
  2. Their playing with fire, lets hope nobody gets burned. It will only take one case of jumping the divide that could start a pandemic in humans. As Sirblessed said in a earlier post on RHD2 "Its all out Money". Cheers Arry
  3. Thought i would past this on if its any help as I had never had this problem before . Last week we were going to give the ferrets a run in some ground burrows so got the knocker box and collars put new batteries in both and checked them, two collars were 15' but could only reading at about 6' or 7'. So tried another box, still the same looked at the collars copper pin was clean bottom inside cap was bright. Then noticed the threads had a grey dusty dirt in them so cleaned with a brass sued brush and inside the cap both came back to 15' straight away. Two collars reading wrong with the same p

  9. See if you can pickup a MK 1 they are fine and should be cheaper. As the other lads said you get attached to your ferrets and as they get older they become more valuable to you. Spent many an hour years ago before finders on my hands and knees with my ear to the ground listening trying to locate the ferret. With a finder its peace of mind knowing that the ferret is still in the burrow and where it is. Would not go out with out one myself. Cheers Arry

Thanks David Its about ten miles from my nearest permission I was just looking at it to help a small holder out. Think i'll give a wide berth for a while and give a ring in the winter to see what has happened. Just in case its some idiot with an air gun shooting them and leaving them where they drop but I don't think so as I could not see a mark on them. I Just hope it does not spread right across the area, only seen it once before some twenty years ago and it didn't seem to do much damage then. Cheers Arry Cheers Arry

Thanks Fly The Boy, Yea thought I would give it a miss any way as i've read it can hang around for a long time in the ground and three parts of a year at room temperature. I don't want to help it spread by getting on my gear. Cheers Arry

Went to look at 5 acre field that had rabbit problem on the side of Dartmoor. On arriving and meeting the guy seem to be loads of rabbits running around, I did notice a small dead rabbit under a farm trailer but thought a cat must have killed it and thought no more about it. Then walking up a footpath in a tunnel of hazel another full grown one dead with no markings 20 yards further on another heavily pregnant doe then 3 more about 20 yard apart. This I think must be VHD but iv'e only seen one case before and that was about 20 years ago and that one had blood coming out of its ears. Any you gu
  21. Not on Facebook Laddylurcher, I took on 2 big farms last year and I want to concentrate on them and my mate I go with can only do just over half a day as he is a carer. So 50 miles each way doses not leave much time to do the work. Must be some lads down there that could use it. Cheers Arry.
  22. Yea no PM's as well. If nobody want's it I will travel down there and do it myself. But the offer is still on. Cheers Arry
  23. I've done a few now and about 90% of problems on MK1 come some this switch. Some can be cleaned by taking the numbered wheel off and cover (a small plastic disc ) and using some mentholated spirits or component cleaner and a cotton bud wipe the carbon dice. if this failed then fit new switch, there is stuff called solder wick, this is copper braid which you lay on the soldered joint put the soldering iron on top of and this draws the solder out of the hole which makes it easy to remove the legs. If no braid then cut the legs off hold the leg with tweezers put soldering iron on joint pull gentl
