  2. Do you know what. I wish more people could come to the fishing comp. Lads it is a fantastic week end where you put faces to handles so to speak. I was made very welcome and never heard any body bad mouthing anybody. we all got on great guns. The lads that came are to a man IMO great guys to a man. Does not mater if you can not fish people will help. It's the social week end and a bloody good one. You would not have half the shit on the site if you had actually met the guys you are talking to on line. Christ we certainly have a few beers Lol. Cheers Arry
  3. Just keep going back mate, all around the area. If she kill and she has lost her collar she will probably stay in that burrow. My lad got a lost one back two weeks after a friend lost his ferret, it was still in the same burrow. My lad ran our ferrets through the burrow and came back and said no luck, just said our ferrets just kept chittering. I told him to get back there as that ferret is still in there that's why they are chittering. Came back with his friends ferret. Good luck and don't give up. Cheers Arry
  4. Got to say I was heartened the other week on here when every body seemed to rally around and help support "iworkwhippets". Again when I became a Granddad and just wanted to tell anybody the world, the congratulations were over whelming. But would be a lot nicer if it didn't get so personal with the slagging. I'm sure if we were in a pub most of us would get on. Cheers Arry
  5. Have a look at posts in the thread "Calibrating Mk1 Ferret Finder" at the top of Ferret and Ferreting page mate. Cheers Arry
  6. Leave your carrying box at the nearest hole with the lid propped open about half way. Bait a mink/squirrel trap there as well covered with a sack. Before finders we would not know how deep or were they were, but often got them back even over a week latter. Good luck with it mate. Cheers Arry

    Brexit

I seem to remember the experts and the institute for fiscal studies saying if we so much as vote out we would go into recession and unemployment would go through the roof in weeks. Well they got that wrong didn't they. Growth is as good as any EU country and unemployment lowest it's been for decades. We are fed the same old shit by the remoaners. Any thing to stop the biggest democratic vote ever held in this country with the best turn out ever. It's been a constant assault by the scheming Labour Party the Lying Lib - Anti Dem's and the Traitors in the Tory Party close of all avenues and

Lucky if I find one or two in a season, Found seven in the last two days. Just two "Chanterelles" (the yellow ones)and the two with ye
  23. Let them get bigger mate so they open up and can see the proper colour of the gills. I don't think they are Field Mushrooms the gills would be pink at that stage. Be careful mate. Have a look at this site see if it's any help. https://www.wildfooduk.com/mushroom-guide/ Cheers Arry
