    We had a run of those Couches the best being over 2lb from the open coast about fifteen years ago. It was getting better and better each year till that big blow ripped the road out at Slapton Sand and surrounding area. It ripped the bottom out of the beach so all the little Clams were gone and the Bream disappeared , they are starting to turn up again though. The Guilts have been around in Salcombe estuary for many years but have come on strong in the last few years. Nice to see the colour in these fish. Cheers Arry

    They have been after Sea Angling fo a while with talk of Licenses and not aloud to take Bass. Years ago I was a mad keen Sea Angler and I was on the Fishing Committee for a club also on Wyven Committee the National body for the South West. Now when the Hunting Ban was being talked about. I raised the subject of supporting the Hunts, which was turned down. I warned them then we all should stick together. Together we stand divided we fall. To no avail, Now their tactics are, is to take us out one by one. Once they get rid of Sea Angling then Freshwater is next then Ferreting shooting it will all

    Coden Chesil Beach will fish for the Dover Sole next month on the big tides. Walk towards Portland till you see a gate into the reeds (its like a house gate) fish there. Heavy traces so you don't lose hooks to the Spider Crabs though. Them Spider Crabs are good eating. Cheers Arry

    Looking nice mate like the companion planting to keep white fly away. By sinking the pots into the ground gives you a bit more height, just my way of thinking. Another thing I do is take all leafs off that are below the first truss for more air circulation. In fact this year I think I have taken every leaf off below the second truss as for some reason I seem to have a lot of foliage this year, but not all at once say one off every second day.     They are those plastic pots you have flowers in normally, I put extra holes in them but the bottom are still in mate. I put about 4 inches of compost in the bottom and transplant Tomatoes in them and as they grow up add soil as they get bigger till the pot is full, removing any leaf as needed. Cheers Arry

    Two row of Red Romaine Lettuce Two more rows of Little Gems and some Rainbow Chard. Some Beetroot, Red Salad Oak leaf Lettuce and a row of Radish. A well staggered row of Runners after a germination failure. Nearest half is White Lady and the others are White Emergo. Cheers Arry

    Green House is doing well Mini Cucumbers cropping well. Waiting for the Tomatoes to turn. This variety is Shirley. This one Sun Gold and will be the first to turn. The last 6 or 7 Little Gems of the first crop. Cheers Arry

    Watched a thing Sunday every body had come out of the wood work with their boats board you know all the gear and no idea. Well look up from where I was fishing with my mate and saw a dingy with a man and two kids in it a a biggish woman on a stand up board. Over the broad went and she was in 20 foot out from the shore, the guy in the dingy grabbed the board and the woman hung on to the side of the dingy. But she could not get back on the board or into the dingy. Instead of telling her to hang on and just row to the shore, she took her life jacket off to try and get into the dingy. She could no

I'm sure you have had knock backs before in your life and came through because you strong character.     They never all got off one inflatable dingy. these Channel crossing are getting bad. In serious though think we will be back in lock down, it's gone mental these thick c**t think is all over. Its mobbed on the beaches seen people in boats rammed in all touching each other. Cheers Arry
