  3. Some great old songs posted in resonantly. This song reminds me of wonderful era in time where music was changing as I was growing up, I count myself very lucky to have lived through this time. Think I was sixteen and heard this and how Reg Presley ( the lead singer) was a bricky. He was on site laying bricks when he heard the song had gone to number one in the charts, threw his trowel into the banker board and f****d off site. Cheers Arry
  4. Not very affective but people keep their distance. Cheers Arry
  5. Bit of a contrast this was taken in March 2018 after a storm this is the end of the road that went all the way to the houses at the far end. the storm before that one took out spaces for 50 or so car to park. About 60 foot gone. Cheers Arry Cheers Arry

  7. Beesands been alive with small mackerel driving the white bait up the shore. The whole of Start Bay has been alive for over a week now. Some of the small Mackerel known as Joey's to us were even beaching them selfs. Bigger Mackerel are chasing the small Mackerel. Should have collected the white bait up and had a good feed on them same thing you get in them Tapas Bars. Cheers Arry
  8. Well this is a first for me Black Birds going in the greenhouse and at my Tomatoes. Cheers Arry

  10. On one of my perms they have three biggish poly tunnels. They grow all the usual stuff Tomatoes, Cucumbers etc. But they make most money out of growing edible flowers and herbs for gastro pubs and restaurants. I imagine thats all on hold at the moment though. Cheers Arry
  11. Seek says Giant Bellflower on seek on my phone. Cheers Arry
  12. No we don't own it. But we do pay for it, one of the highest water charges if not the highest so the water quality of beaches is good and so you can drink and bath in water. High community charges so the litter that left all over the beaches can be picked up and toilets can be supplied and cleaned. But I don't mind people coming down. The point of the thread was that people are worried over a mass influx of people into an area that has had very low infection and therefor vulnerable to the Covid - 19 that they may bring down with them. Atb. Cheers Arry
  13. Starting early this year, must be all the rain. I now think this is the Ruby Bolete and not the Red Cracking Bolete, not for eating. Cheers Arry
  14. Your right mate especially Bank holidays. Like I said in other post it's just concerning because of the pandemic and the fact we have kept it low down here. Folk are worried it will start a spike. When you see how visitors behave at Bournemouth, Durdle Door and else where. Cheers Arry
  15. Well I have to disagree mate. I don't mind people coming down here at all as long as the behave and don't ruin what we have. ie litter BBQ's etc you know what I mean. Most of the holiday areas are run down now Paignton and Torquay around me as more and more people went abroad for holidays. It's second homes that have buggered it up down here some villages nearly empty in the winter. When I say God help us down in Devon and Cornwall I was referring to Covid-19 as we on the whole have behaved down here the numbers are really low almost none now. Trouble is because haven't had it bad we are
  16. M5 at a stand still. Every man and his dog coming down here. https://www.devonlive.com/news/devon-news/live-heavy-traffic-super-saturday-4293138 Cheers Arry
  17. Keith Floyd bought a country pub / restaurant call the Maltsters Inn he changed the name to Floyds, this was in a village about three miles from me. Well on a stag night pub crawl of a mate mine somebody reckoned we should descend on his pub. So ordered some taxi and arrived we were not going to eat just drink, thought Floyd not going to like this much in his restaurant. On arriving we all entered quite noisily Floyd was at the bar and to my amazement he was okay with it, he was getting loads. He made us very welcome joined in gave us all teeshirts got the yard of ale out and we had a f***ing
