  1. Think there is two or three that will not hatch. She has chucked one egg out of the cup. Cheers Arry
  2. I was impressed with them scats you found, that how I would imagine them to be like. As for photos I have a bridge camera that has 24x zoom with anti shake and would stand a chance of getting a photo of something like a cat at a field away. Most people would struggle to get an image at distance with a smart photo unless its one of the latest. Its fine even with a camera if you have time to line up a shot but to be just walking along and see a fleeting glance, by the time you have lifted the camera it's gone. I sure it will happen right place at the right time with the right gear. More and more
  3. On that bike of my Brother in Laws I put up in Eco mode recons could get 60 miles in Turbo Mode 25 miles thats with 500 Watt battery. This could vary depending on weight and terrain. I don't know if this will help Brother in Law sent this link. https://www.bosch-ebike.com/en/service/range-assistant/ He's gone off on one now asked him for a bit of info now sending all sorts. He rates these bikes. https://www.cube.eu/en/2020/e-bikes/mountainbike/ Cheers Arry
  4. I so agree with you Wilf. Loads of sighting around Sparkwell on the edge of Dartmoor one quite recently that was poo-pooed on here. They have been seen on numerous of accounts of Big Cat on the out side of Cat enclosures. Sighting my mate saw was only few miles away as the crow fly's. Also had a Lynx escape and recaptured a year or so back. Cheers Arry
  5. It's hard enough to get a good shot of a Fox or an Otter and there are loads with a camera let alone I smart phone. Sooner or later I'm convinced it will happen. I totally believe the accounts I have been told genuine people, why would they lie, not one of them went to the papers or brag about it. In fact some of them you had to worm it out of them bit reluctant to tell. Cheers Arry

  10. I know and agree with what you are saying. This guy is sound I new him all my life he's a countryman shooting ferreting got a small holding a genuine down to earth guy. It only came up when I asked him in conversation if he had seen a big cat. I also know two farmers that have seen them my best mate and ferreting buddy has seen two and a lad into shooting and fishing seen one very close to where the guy fixing the gutter seen one. Me I've never seen one, seen glimpses of things not sure what it was and a set of eyes out lamping one night that made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up

  12. One of the best accounts of a sighting given to me by a mate. He was working on the gutter of a bungalow on the edge of Dartmoor when he and his mate saw a Puma like cat stalking two rabbit. They watch for twenty minutes and neither had a phone or camera. I have even given him a old phone of mine and he still won't use it, which annoys the shit out of me as I can never get hold of him till night time. The cat did not see my mate until one rabbit bolted toward them then the cat saw them. Cheers Arry

I'm like you Jetro go nearly black in a hot summer, a delivery driver on site one day asked what part of the would I was from. He would not believe me when I said Devon. But this is an interesting subject good thread. I read some where recently about the inhabitants of a small coastal Irish village that disappeared. the theory was that they were taken as slaves to North Africa. Cheers Arry
