  1. May be one of the Milkcaps but there are quite a few mate. If your passing that way turn one over and scratch the gills and if milky white liquid like latex comes out of the damage then it's a milkcap. There are loads and loads of brown mushrooms/toadstools and I don't pick hardly any of them other than the Winter Chanterelle. Sorry not much help. Cheers Arry
  2. This is a very small Camp site. Tents. Vans and Caravans with two small toilets. It just above Beesands in Start Bay used to stay there in my Camper, lovely little site. Two very small fields. Good Chippy on the Beach and a Pub that does good grub.   4. Going back to the thread there is a video I've seen on YouTube or somewhere with a old fella ferreting using a line but I can't find it Before detectors I used to use a line if laid up to help locate a ferret. Cheers Arry

  8. That is interesting mate. Had to look it up after you said that only out of interest. All I could find was Fitch or Fitchy is a European Polecat mainly referred to in Polecat fur trade. I've always like the name Fitch myself sort of sounds ancient if you know what I mean. Cheers Arry
  9. I like the name Fitchy mate we used to call all polecat ferrets Fitchy. My mate has the smallest ferret I've seem I'm looking after at the moment it just never grew it's a sister to my five year old one. She it about 550 grams the little one about 280 grams and loosing its coat, I'm feeding it up poor f***ing thing looks skinny as f**k. It's a pain in the ass working can't shift the stubborn ones but won't leave them either. Crap at coming out to hand shy go to pick it up just goes back in, does my head in. Not sure how it would fare against a big rat. Cheers Arry

  11. Gifted a nice Bass so dug some new potato's picked some runners and cook some mushrooms I foraged today in garlic olive oil. Cook the Bass fillets in foil packets in the oven. Cheers Arry
  12. Out mooching looking for Rabbit numbers lucky I had a carrier bag in my pocket. And this one I brought back for identification its a "Fleecy Milkcap" none edible. Big old thing mine nearly a foot across. Cheers Arry
  13. Never been a favourite of mine not a lover of any kind of Pasta. My lad would get on to me saying you should eat more Pasta my answer was it taste of f**k all and is slimy. His answer was you have to put a sauce on it to make it nice. my reply was just eat the f***ing sauce Lol. So mate I cant give ant advice on Bolognese. Cheers Arry.

  20. It's a self built house hexagon shaped one floor out of wood mate used to have solar panels and battery store. The battery house burnt down so on the mains now. the solar things on the right are glass tubes that the water runs through heating it with the help of an Aga. Real nice people into farm husbandry old skills organic gardening and farming. Also have problem kids that are on a one on one and they are really good with them. Cheers Arry
