    It's not a new thing both parents working ffs. My old man and mother both worked to make ends meet but then the old man was a drinker and did the horses so we never had much. The Wife and I both worked and struggle to buy our house when interest rates were 3 times higher than now. Sold rabbits, skinned foxes poached few fish had swedes and spuds from the field to survive. The Young hate the Government but want them to bail them out of every thing. Only a few want to graft or push them selfs. I see bloaters moaning they have to use food banks while waving the latest iPhone about spending

    Southern Fried style Chicken in Bread Crumbs. As good if not better than KFC. Don't know if any body is interested. It's Just Chicken thighs skinned and boned. The cut each one in two. Put on a board cover with cling film beat flat. Soak in Butter milk ( milk with half a lemon squeezed in it )for an hour or more. Cover a plate with flour then take the chicken one at a time cover with the flour. Dip in a beaten egg. Put bread crumbs in a bowl cover chicken in crumbs. Put the Chicken on parchment paper on a tray. Cook at 180c F

    Up on Dartmoor Again today At Buckland Beacon where the Ten Commandments are carved into two granite slabs.     Walk at Bolberry Down today put a bit about it in fishing section as I used to fish under these cliffs. Looking down at a small cove called Soar Mill Cove you cant quite see the sand. Cheers Arry

    Bit nostalgic for me today walking of Bolberry Down, cliffs I used to climb down using 200 foot of rope to fish. The Best Ray marks in the country for Blonde Ray, Small Eyed and Spotted Ray. The nearest point is a mark me and two mates pioneered back in 1980, one hell of a mark for Ray. This picture taken from the other direction with a ships boiler. Massive prawns in that boiler as you can walk around it on a spring tide. The middle point is where the British record Blonde Ray comes from.     Eating out mostly this week as the Wife is on holiday. This from a cracking Pup right out in the country lanes. Wifeys Bass and Cod Fish Cakes. Mine Crispy Duck and it was to die for. Will be going back. Next night another country pub with good grub. Wifeys Lamb Cutlets. Mine was Monk Fish Scampy. Cheers Arry

    South West Water has on a hose pipe ban for nearly a year now. We pay I think the highest charge for the duel lowest performing company it boils my piss. Not one new reservoir has been built since 1989 privatisation in the country. There was one I think finished after but started before. SWW are now saying they have just built one but its just an old clay pit they have bought. Cheers Arry
