  1. Ive got some real good lookibg sets made for me but i do think the best ones are the simplest the little wooden tabset i allways shoot it with sqaure very good little fork
  2. Shoot loads of different elastics if flatband 1mm 25-20 sometimes 1.2 or 2mm tapered real thin. Shoot tube upto harpoon its just finding something that ya get on with at the time isnt it.
  3. Good shooting. I find the little steel good when ya shooting in places abit public better than a 14mm steel dinging off a branch ?
  4. No id definitely agree most need to be good up and down hedges to kill alot even rabbits but they can be good bit of fun especially if your into the bushing catapulting ferreting type of thing. seen some real good dogs off a bull whippet back to something else aswell.

  7. Ive seen one out of this litter doing allsorts of hunting looks a lovely dog credit to the man that bred it and went out of his way to get into the hands of someone doing a variety of work with it. And definitely one of the best reared pups ive ever seen

  9. Ive heard pf a few people breeding bull into bushing dogs just lately someone mustve seen something good in it to do it

Bit of a strong thing to say ive seen leverets in december and january certain fawns at the same time and cubs in the very late winter months no one goes out to do it obviously but any sort of hunting especially with dogs accidents will happen. late summer when them pigs get hungry youll find them in strange places even in the daylight.
  11. I wouldnt mind a bigish pitbull with a good coat on it for messing about hunting and that be able to take it abroad to work and if it gets a few lumps and bumps all hidden under its jacket sounds ideal to me.
  12. I reckon the only thing a wheaten would add to a pitbull is coat would be a big plus for some people
  13. Only after some for the children if they bolt a rabbit the every now and again i go id be over the moon. I seen some years ago that were timy cool little things to have
  14. Meant to be buying a pard day and night scope meant to be a good bit of kit my mate raves about it. Does sound alot easier to just hold a torch though ?
  15. Just after something to chuck on the gun got a few places where lamps just bring attention i dont do loads of shooting. I did use my mates nv and it wasnt great to be honest picture wasnt clear at all
  16. Does the pard not affect how you shoot when you add it onto the scope like that ?
  17. How we doing fellers looking into these nitesites are they any good ? If so can anyone recommend a good one that you look through rather than the screen type ?

  20. Ive gone back to using square really enjoying shooting again. takes abit more mastering than flat band
  21. I know theres been a couple pit cattle dogs done dont quite know why but id imagine that dog aggression could be an issue
  22. Cheers feller i understand what you mean. Obviously its abit of an awkward one for me anyway as i dont want one for that type of work i want a little allround tag along type dog that can turn its paw to a few different jobs but at the same time can do some stuff well. Time will tell ive had a few kind offers to spend abit of time with some so ill see what happens if i think there suit what i want ill definitely give one a bash
