Some nice fish mate I thought you would be fishing for trout we don’t have any barbel up this way that I know of ? Mostly trout salmon pike ect. Is there more barbel than trout ect in the rivers your way ? what’s the barbel like do they put up a good fight ?

I've always loved the lakes but since the instragram it's just ridiculously busy even in places you never saw folk my mate was there other weekend and said he couldn't belive the amount of Pakistanis their now said windermere Ambleside was full of them we always get out walking first light to avoid the crowds of people trekin to places just for a pic with their frenchy done upto the nines moaning like feck about how far it is

Due to fishing an unknown spot. We can't always be catching. Lol. Past three weeks. Couple of weeks I've had 4 & 3 week before that my lads mate 3 me & him 1. Then week before that. Took my lad for his first barbel 3 in net me 1 due to leaving rod on bank till later on. So we've not done too bad.

I've been fishing past three weeks mate warmer than yesterday. Had some nice fish. That area were I am goes from medium flow to fast flow gravel area. Just that the Calder fishes better on an evening for barbel. Even better when it's gravy looking. Don't like clear water through day. Got me out for a few hours.

New job today, foundations for a big extension on student accommodation, I think I’m only here for security, it’s at a place called Brough Road in Middlesbrough, if any of you know Middlesbrough you will know why you need someone just to keep an eye out

If your in the market definitely worth a gander but if you do go ahead make sure you get an out of water survey done on the hull will cost a few quid but could save you loads depending on how well maintained it has been below the water line overplating could be around 10 k on that

I think the bit your missing is that most ferals started life in a loft but never returned have a look when your in town burnt up feet from the acid on the window ledges and rings on there legs if you shot 10 ferals you would get 3/4 ring

Any lads with a pack of dogs doing any bushing round County Durham. Got a terrier pup 12 month keen as mustard but I want him out with a few older dogs to fetch him on. Used to be loads round about near me but nobody seems to do it anymore. Plenty spots near me at Bishop or I can travel.
