  3. You wish you had hair like that
  4. Don and I said we use a soft toothbrush to clean the dogs nails; nothing more, nothing less. mC said he doesn’t use a brush. Fine, that’s his choice, but why make a big deal of it ? I’m sure Don, Penny and I have been around long enough to know how to clean our dogs feet. Ive been doing it for almost 60 years and never had a problem. Cheers.
  5. Ahh I see,no bother mate,I wasn't trying to tell you how to do your work, just throwing out a wee tip as I do the same work mate
  6. They are all just off cuts from other jobs, they don’t need to be straight because the sleeper bed will sit on top of them giving you an uncut line along the front of the sleeper
  7. I think in fairness to mick . No one said early on not to brush into the quick, but away from them . What a brush can do that a soft cloth can't in that scenario, I don't know. I've known men to pick under the skin with a needle to loosen dirt . But imo the quick gets irreparable damage
  8. Nice work stav. Wee tip for you on on the angled paving, looks like you cut each one individually, better of cutting all in one go an use a chalk line to mark your line, but to save doing that, keep your slabs parallel to the fence line an do your cuts at the top were fence is an at bottom were it meets the decking,so youl have to clean uncut long edges an your cut edges flowing into fence an decking. Do you not use Borders mate?
  9. Boy ? How dare you assume his gender
  10. Some of you may recall that I had one of these in .22 which I had been thinking of having a Mark Dempsey tune and shround/mod fitting but as it was a .22 I just decided not to go ahead and sold it. Today I popped into the rfd and on the rack was a mint P35 in .177 with a full Mark Dempsey tune and shroud/mod............................. well of course I had to pick it up. This thing is nothing short of lovely in the shoulder and compares well with an FX Wildcat. This gun is so quiet, you could barely hear it being fired, by far the quietest air rifle I have ever come across and it left me wan
  11. Didnt he used to get young lads to try and squat him then start sweating profusely when his corn on the cob was resting on them
  12. Do wither of you happen to know a lad who keeps a line of running dogs from south Wales ? I can’t remember his username , but he was a very knowledgeable lad , very reserved and able to listen to others opinions and debate well. bowline his running dogs line was called
  13. Today
  14. Right well we're leave it at that for now then
  15. I do like the 57 being lighter than the 77 or 97 but these guns are just not popular compared to the 77, 97 and 95 so getting a good price is a bit of an uphill battle. My rfd had six returned from an activity centre which I sat down and tested all of them prior to them being sold. All had a few marks and a Nikko Sterling scope, they sold between £80 and £100 and took a while before they actually sold. I cannot see why they are not very popular because I found them to be really nice to use. Cost new is approx £430 sometimes with a scope included so you might be able to get between £150 and
