That's f****r when we get those wet summers, last year was the same we struggled as they'd had a real shite year, they seem to have done a bit better this year with the dry spring/summer.

That was caught on the river bush, where they make the world famous whiskey, basically we plumb the depth then lift the prawn a foot off the bottom, using a float to keep it suspended, so if its 6ft deep we fish the prawn/shrimp at 5ft, when the float goes down then its usually a fish

I did ,a few wet summers and mixi came back and they’ve disappeared.. no other pressure on them .

The digging game over here, is finished, truth be told,lost its shine for me mate,gifted all my black dogs,Pieps box with 3 bellman collars,couples, pegging out chains,shovels,grafters,bars etc to a good lad I used to take out....all the hunting books I've collected and been bought the last 46 yrs,edrd mags,full collection working terrier year books,all gone....only thing I have left is memories,a rake of kennel panels,boxes and clip on food bowls
