I ended up in hospital for a night last week. I forgot I wasn't young any more and over exerted myself. There was a mix up, messages were never read and so I ended up dragging a carcass over a mile in very warm weather. I got badly dehydrated, became delirious and passed out. (Some said I talked more sense when I was delirious.) Anyway the point is I received great care. Couldn't fault it. As others have said, the NHS is hit and miss. But that's not good enough. It should be first class all the time. Here's the sod.

I've never encountered an East Asians up here, nurses up here are mainly English lasses, it's the doctors that are mainly foreign, truth be told, as long as they do their job I couldn't care less where you're from.

And thats why our own NHS is f****d and reliant on overseas workers... by far the best nurses we encountered were foreign, Fillipino's and Thais were lovely.. I agree with your view of invest in our own, it is the correct way, but most of our own will take their skills elsewhere for more money and better conditions... The whole lot needs a complete over haul.. you simply could not chuck out the foreign worker and replace, it is a long project and a pretty daunting task to be honest

You're right there mate, amongst some very bad experiences we have had some amazing care and "proper" nursing at times, there are wards in our hospital that my wife will not go on, if she is have any procedure she will state that she will not go on one of these wards, the care from ward to ward is so different. The problem we have found is the difference in knowledge, experience specific to the illness from our local hospital to teh hospitals we have been to in London, it is like night and day.... I would say St Thomas hospital was very dated in its look, the wards etc..but by god that bl

I've long came to the conclusion, voting, marching, the courts, flying flags etc isn't going to solve this problem and anyone I'm speaking to is saying the same. Deep down we all know what is required. Its a daunting thought.

It’s why lots of clued on people are just going abroad, to access medical care, to train as vets and doctors….its just way better and way cheaper.

You tell him mate....lol When I'm not doing wildlife work I work with the specialist proofing team....doing stuff like that is our bread and butter....mostly supermarkets....and most building companies are shocking for leaving stuff like that....or they fill it with expanding foam that rats chew through in 5 minutes

My mate's on about breeding his beddy whippet greyhound springer whippet next time she breaks down and has offered me a pup though with the rabbit numbers absolutely dire around the doors even though the hare and roe population is on the up it's something that i will have to consider if he does breed her and if their was a decent rabbit population i wouldn't give it a second thought.

that will only apply for all the boat people..they are getting restaurant style meals cooked and delivered to these hotels etc..cheaper to just f**k them off with a new build and leave them to it in the long run.. Watch this space...
