Mice will eat most things if hungry and have regular contact with meat. I have seen mice in all sorts of interactions with meat, fish too. I watched a program about mice that had evolved in deep freezers to have long coats and thick layers of fat. The fat came from the beef carcases. In that program it said about the amount of time meat was stored. Apparently beef carcases can be up to 10 years, if kept at super low temps.

Id say they were woodmice/ fieldmice. But I just didn't mention the mice and just signed that one off as finished as I was so busy. Id have liked to leave a trail camera on the dead squirrel and film it but as said I'd run out of time. We aren't allowed to use poison for fieldmice now, supposed to only use traps until they can be positively identified. Id guess most people just get the job done asap by whatever means possible. House mice can be terrible to deal with at times, won't go near traps and difficult to get eating bait.

Not good she's come to terms she's not getting one. We've got a caravan over at flambrough. So we don't need a f***ing camper van. Plus I've just paid over 400 quid for some Canaries. 28 in total. Some lovely diamophics , some mixed breeders for feeders. So we won't be going nowhere when the breeding seasons starts.
