I see it more as a temporary relief than a win for Russia. Trump imposed the embargo, has now lifted it for thirty days and will most likely re-impose it. There’s nothing Putin can do about it. When someone on here suggested putting 4p on income tax to fund defence I suggested it might be better to stop overseas aid, stop paying billions to house and feed illegal immigrants, don’t pay billions to give away the Chagos islands, that would be a good start Cheers.

I think it’s been amazing on all sorts of levels, not least in the fact it will highlight all the daily betrayals of our domestic leaders ! I did the same when I was a kid....13 year old found a kitten wandering around whilst doing my paper round....asked at a few doors ...nobody new where it came from ....so it went in my paper sack and came home with me...lived till he was 15.... About a year later me and my mates were up the woods and found a cardboard box with 5..or 6 kittens in....that came home with me....mum and dad said fook right off...not again....called the cats trust...or one off these charities and they took them..
