  1. Past hour
  2. We looked at insurance for 3 labs but what they wanted a month it wasn't worth it and in the small print the policy changes and goes up as they get older and on what they would pay out for we put money away each month for any treatment I have a limit of a 3 grand otherwise it's pts I have a vet 8 doors away used them once when old bitch had a fit in night aged 13 offered all sorts of treatments even though my own vet said it wasn't worth putting her through it at her age 12 months prior when she came out in lumps on her stomach I wouldn't take a another there ever after delaying it for so long
  3. this is the problem, these kids can’t afford to insure these dogs but still want them, most insurance companies won’t insure a dachshund against IVDD because it affects 1 in 4 and they know the cost of the operation
  4. Teenage boy supposedly as I guessed in my earlier post, what is it with these fckn degenerates
  5. kanny

    Scott Mills

Looks like it's a historic fiddler charge that got dropped
  6. It’s not in much better nick now lol
  7. Yeah, poor little b*****ds, genetic dwarfs with high prey drive, imprisoned in deliberately extended bodies to amuse and comfort owners who treat them like children. And they say greyhound racing is cruel ffs. The Kennel Club need to sort their act out and stop registering them, along with frenchies and other flat nosed breeds which struggle to breathe. But they are a great money spinner for the Kennel Club, breeders. Insurance companies and vets, so the cruelty will no doubt continue. Shame for the dogs themselves and a shame for the owners who are morally blackmailed into spending
  8. Some of them vets and pet insurance companies must love the dauschound the money this breed must generate for them. I heard some one recently saying they knew someone with the said dogs pays 150 a month pet insurance for one of these breeds.
  9. Did you copy and paste that from the Green Party manifesto ?
  10. This is going to be your car Gman if you carry on spying on the yanks
  11. Considering ’The Madison’ wasn’t really gun ho at all made bloody good viewing. looking forward to the latest - Dutton Ranch, that definitely looks a bit gun ho
  12. Today
  13. I'm same think I'm 4eps in but feelin same think he's to do so many series for 200milion and its like this 1 was chucked in to complete it as yellowstone other spin offs landman the madison all good
  14. Agree. The inspectorate are an unnecessary level of interfering, infuriating, computer _says_ no bureaucratic wankers. Their salaries are through the roof. Those salaries could be used to fund more teachers. Get rid.
  15. Why insurance is a must nowadays. I wouldn't pay it remember 20 year ago my best terrier had a injury was goin to cost 2500 to make it have 3 legs or 60 to pts it was a sad goodbye. But when last dog got cancer mrs was heartbroken she liked the dog better than me n kids and to be fair I just said whatever it costs get it sorted but don't tell me . I know it cost alot and they sold her the new treatment story and they'd sort it but 6 months later he'd gone
  16. I can’t even start on the parents, they are the worse kind of people, pure white trash
  17. PDSA set limits on what they will treat .. It's not just for the unemployed either people who work but receive benefits can also avail of it
  18. Yeah, I know all about the pdsa, they are good people, they would of pts, they wouldn’t of been able to do what has been done to this dog
  19. They wanted around 400 quid to pts, even that wouldn’t be getting paid in the world I’m from, I’ve seen Mrs Stav spend hundreds of pounds trying to keep pet rabbits alive, the old cat that she had ( about 19 years old ) had a grands worth of tests to tell her it was old and the best thing was to pts and then charged about 200 quid for that, now she can afford to do these things and if it makes her feel better then who am I to stop her but the way vets pray on vulnerable people is shocking, to put it into a bit of perspective the operation that dog has just had cost the same if I needed the sam
  20. They do play on it , that’s why decent vets are becoming harder to find. If they advised pts everytime a dog came in they would nt be fit for purpose, and they trained to fix things, worst part about this story is everyone else chipping in and the parents nothing, that pisses me off more than the vet. We did work for a vet, nice ole boy, he had a new machine turn up, he said it was a new x ray machine £150,000
  21. Unemployed people can go to the pdsa for free or donations i find it much cheaper to pay a dole head to take your dog in for you
  22. Bit of a mixed bag on the weather front and despite mc telling us it’s all over for the yanks the bombing is intensifying and the A10s are in the straights of homuz
  23. Tumour under dogs armpit, here 1,600 over in Italy, same op, 160 pounds
  24. Dogs these days in some places have as many rights as people. I've spent over $3000 on a snake bite vaccine treatment for a Russell who got bitten again 2 weeks later and died and over $3000 on trying to save my 9 year old whip/stag, my best dog ever who had liver failure. I think the vets do play on your heart strings and with a kid's or old lady's loved pet it's easy. I really think they should say the animal can't be saved if the cost is going to be affecting the person that badly. I also think people have to make the hard decision and pts the animal rather than take food off their table.
