Have a small plinth made between the floors mate. No choice on them as the tile level goes through into the front room, kitchen etc. Joys of an ancient house, built over 100s of years, the cellar is an old saxon long house dates back to 1054, with parts built in Tudor times, Georgian and a new annexe built in the 80s.. you've got to live with the quirks! A late response for which I am sorry. The fact is that I took the JTS hunting and found it to be spot on so I simply ended the testing but of course who is to say the next time the mood takes me, I will not continue to carry on testing however for now t least, I am happy to stick with the JST.
