Does the average squaddie still support the royal family? There's been a big change on here. Ten years ago any anti royalist posts on here were angrily criticised. Now I think most people on THL have had enough of them. It's only a minority who support them in Scotland. I think if there were a referendum nation wide, most people would support either abolition or a much reduced royal family given a lot less money. I know surveys in the past supported continuation of the institution. I'm pretty sure that's no longer the case.
