The reason it sunk was the water had nowhere to go, hence the Aco’s, to take the water away, fingers crossed it won’t sink now the water can get away instead of going up against the house ( where it had sunk ) but, yeah, not been able to stone it up properly means there’s no guarantee with this one

Made a chicken and chorizo bean casserole Tuesday which was very nice ta, yesterday I put the leftovers under a mash top and had it with savoy cabbage.

I'm not sure to be honest as I haven't done a away game my mate will know is 3g them plastic and grass mixed pitches
-
That's it these days with the tickets you never know who with you were like you say it was always the same old faces away it was my preference to always go away I've seen them bands on tv at England games I think sheff wed started it all of I once went to pompey I got stuck near him with all the tattoos he had a big bell thing again all game ringing itI felt like lamping him with it
-
Likewise theres only a handful of grounds i havent done....one of them being Burton Albion tomorrow im really looking forward to it.... thank God for the Fa Cup
-
Are there any clubs with 3g pitches in that league mate ?....or artificial pitches in general
-
Bollocks to that ive been a few rows in front of them lunatics with the drums at an England game once i felt like throttling them.....as you probably experienced yourself its away games where you always got your main hardcore supporters but now with all the different ticket exchanges and what not even that isnt a guarantee your not going to pitch up with a few once a season berks.... i prefer away games now this Olympic Stadium has killed a bit of my enthusiasm for live games truth be told.

Flyde pitch is in better condition than Preston that pitch is shocking for a championship club must be the worst in that division

Thanks for that, I thought Merlin only listed birds identified by call. You can actually log sightings on your ‘life list’ if you create an account.., which I did. I’m up to ten just on todays, including a tawny owl and buzzard this morning. I made a list a while ago of species I’ve had in the garden, it stands at 31.

I think that is the same for a lot of lads now as been said on here I pick and choose now theses days I have done most of the grounds lower leagues over years use to look forward to them more than home games but haven't been away for a few years I think what got me thinking was I got a ticket for a home game I hadn't been in my seat long when up come a band right behind me big drum trumpets cimbulles all she bang all game they were at it I asked a steward to move me no he wasn't having any of it
-
Thats good attendances we're still down in the 2 - 300 bracket but gradually improving and at a tenner admission its nice local league stuff and wont ever be any more than that....owning your ground is massive for non league clubs very few London clubs do for obvious reasons but the quality of the pitches even at this level has improved massively over the years you just dont get the mud baths of non league footie when we was young.

I dont know if its an age thing or not but i just cant summon up all that dedication anymore....i worked out that up until last year ive been to around about 75% of the games West Ham have played over the last 40 years....now while theres chaps i know who have done a lot more than i have thats still a hell of a lot of games, travelling and money.....after losing somebody close last year i was hibernating and didnt go to one game and it kind of taught me that i can live without it.....much as we love the game and being around our pals at games and the whole football day i think that hunger for c

Admission is about 15 to 20 depending on if you sit or stand they had a derby game a few weeks ago attendance was just short of 1700 normally round 12/1300 this season but going up weekly yes it's owned the previous owner I think it was got a decent stretch for fraud I think it was he wanted to buy blackpool but oyston wouldn't sell so he invested in fylde tidy little ground well kept
