Without digging the book out. I'm pretty sure she was labeled as a Foxhound x Greyhound, but I'd doubt that. Also, in the 80's many of the old boys would say how Plummer borrowed from Drabble, Wadsworth and many other lesser known men. In Liverpool plenty would say Jimmy Keeling wrote Rogues and Running Dogs, sending it to the already published Plummer to give his thoughts. And the rest is history... Plummer's name was mud by many of the old boys. Bill Brightmoor showed me the revolver he chased Plummer off his farm with (not that Bill needed anything in his hands to be scary enough.

Yep, that's the photo from the book, and for me, possibly the best lurcher photo of all time...
-
Micky Rourke was also what made me watch it

Of Pedigree Unknown and A Weasle in my Meatsafe are/were the 'go too' Drabble books imo. Rebecca the Lurcher by Andrew Simpson is also an enjoyable, nostalgic read.

Both main Drabble books are well worth a read. No idea bout them pups, but they look in decent nick...

I was never into American wrestling. Though I do remember raising an eyebrow at Hogan in the Rocky film and thought he'd probably kill Shirley Crabtree. 'Ol Kent Walton would shit himself with all that vocal... Then I watched it and couldn't get past the shouting.... For Gnasher, the film The Wrestler, starring Micky Rourke is a great insight to the life, and a powerful but poignant film too. I'd bet you'd enjoy it. Also The Iron Claw, a true story about a wrestling family, I also really enjoyed.

I just looked through the window, looked like lots of T shirts and merch of stuff he wore. I didn't fancy a Wrestlemania bandana so I got the pic and we carried on to the beach.

Was at that Quadraphenia tour myself mate, but we travelled down to Brum for it. PJ Proby playing the rocker.

Hogan's shop in Clearwater Florida... Didn't go in..!

Ozzy, in the 80's, just proving how great his vocals could be. Kim sounds fantastic too

A monumental performance by a truly gifted singer. Yet i'm unmoved by her music...

Nope, though I have seen them live a few times, and had a few beers with Andy. I did miss out electronic music in that list, and I am a big fan. Here's a couple of pics of the Mrs with some electronic friends...

Grew up in a world of 'ollers', bull terriers, clobber and The Jam (who I never seen as a Mod band) The Clash and The Damned. Was given a copy of the album Close To The Edge, by Yes, aged about 14, and it started a love of prog, Floyd, Genesis, Rush and Marillion. Through those came rock and Van Halen, Sabbath and everything else heavy. Then came the funk, Ohio Players, Parliament, Funkadelic etc I love so much music. To me music is a place, a feeling, a vibe. So everything can work. Right now, it's Sleaford Mods, The Viagra Boys and Amil & The Sniffers. But t
