Few last night for me and blacky . Think mine finished on about 8 . Think we lost a few out rucksack when doing a few ninja moves . Good crack though , great laugh seeing him pulled over on his arse l

Ground ain't the best but I've been back out in day this last week free running to get a bit back into him after his little lay off . Got myself 500 acres of permission yesterday so I'll be out later

My permission; Hope I’m not giving too much away 😂👍 Cheers.

Do you think them stronger more muscular dogs are better in the heavy going as they have got that bit more strength to power through it or does the lighter built ones just skim over it easier as there not as heavy, this could be a question for green lurchers what do you rekon about the slop skimmers lol

Me and a fella called Nickem on here used to hunt on flooded water meadows and he had a merlin/eve bred dog that did very very well on it, i had a bull x bred by Nickem and she was built like a brick shithouse but was only 23/24 tall. We were out very regularly and these dogs were good at there jobs, other folks dogs came and caught but just didn't have the stamina needed for the deep going, they were all sorts ,bull x's ,coursing breds ,collie x's and even Buck came and had some fun although the fecker nearly pulled my arm off  I think regular running on it makes the difference as all the other dogs were fit and a few did catch but they were f****d by the end of the night and some needed carrying.

Yea I think your right, regular running on a certain type of ground will make the difference as it probably targets different muscle groups and builds up the right muscles so the dog just gets use to it

So really what they saying is they got 3 dogs and the jacker is the best of the lot

One mans jacker is another's man's  one in a lifetime dog

Thought it was interesting read, and seems very knowledgeable on Salukis

The pup …..if one is to believe  A saluki that came back …

They don't come back because they having to much fun hunting or they don't want to be with fella that slips the lead.

I've never had a dog that wouldn't come back to hand, my brother got saluki bred dogs, 1 will catch, kill and stand over it but other one brings back to hand,

I've never done any recall training with any runner and I've never had a dog refuse to come back to me, I've had dogs that chase and loose it so hunt up and chase agsin but that's not refusing to come back that's hunting, different at night on lamp, dog needs come straight back.

You wouldn’t be deported, Gunt; you’d be on your knees in “chop square “ with a big Arab with a sword standing over you 😂👍

Cheers.
