Rest in Peace Phil totally unexpected, as said he only posted the other day, all his posts and pictures were absolute quality it was like reading a passage from a book sometimes when reading them, a man who was well respected in the field sports world.

Sad news indeed my condolences to Phils family and close friends RIP. Those of us of a certain age will have heard the name Phil Lloyd the first time in his weekly page in the then shooting news in the 80s a page in that paper I always looked forward to reading and a name that if it ever cropped up in conversations between other lurcher enthusiasts be it at shows or on the land never once did i ever hear a bad word spoken of the man an indication of how genuine and the real deal he was.

Really shocking news to read that is... Never met him in person but spoke on the phone and put the world to rights.
