Politicians have not planned with indigenous British people in mind since 1947 !
We can all see that now the horse has bolted mate.

As I have said before, for an ordinary bloke to talk about Labour or Tory any more is just ridiculous…..these people shouldn’t even figure in our thinking when discussing the future of our politics.

The sooner we write them off, the sooner we can try to fix things.

That's the thing...they have never consulted with the indigenous British people because it's all been a slow tactical chess game and were just all pawns until they get what they want very soon... A.I.

How some people have the audacity to moan that our country is becoming like the third world when they openly welcome the third world into our country is beyond my logic !

They inherited low inflation, low mortgage rates tied to low interest rates. 14k police, but an untold number of illegal and legal immigrants, countering all investment in NHS schools etc. G

Labour were apoplectic with the Tory's planned NI rise....... Now Labour are apoplectic that the planned NI rise is cancelled ! Labours default setting is simply to oppose anything the Tory'

Gave power to devolved government and allowed them to still make decisions on English matters,

Paternity leave great if you can live on £150 a week.

NHS direct is another desperate attempt to divert services and take heat off of a poorly managed underfunded NHS

Record number of students that couldn't earn enough to repay debts. And left industries short where everyone did useless degrees.

Free eye tests as Specsavers and boots make the money on glasses.

Cleanest rivers and beaches as industry was all sold off to China and Thatcher shut the mining down , Blair did same for steel..

Everyone got a job in a call centre.

Sold Britain's gold reserves off at the lowest possible denominator, gave the banks an undisclosed sum that will never be released. All filled their coffers , champagne socialists .started war in Iraq to keep bush happy.

Banned hunting with dogs.

Basically caused until damage to the UK , and left us in critical recession for years, Tory's haven't done a great job outside of Covid and brexit. But let's not pretend Blair did Britain any favours.

Introduced gambling in UK on a scale not seen in Europe before utilising internet , infiltrating the most vulnerable in their own homes...TV ads etc.

The list goes on. I don't like either side particularly. But it's naive to believe they've done us favours.....with our own money.

f**k me Joe...that's a good post...lol

To be honest I think most vote labour for various reasons.

The main reason up here is "me da and grandad  did, so will I"

Others mistakenly vote Labour because they think Labour is for the working man......they're not, they may have been at one time, but certainly not now.

Some  vote labour ideologicaly, they want a communist , socialist society where everyone is equal, but it's never worked and allways ends in misery for the working classes.

Im not saying The Torys much better bet, I've said many times they are all shithouses........as Richard Littlejohn said, " give someone power and they will abuse it, give someone absolute power and they will absolutely abuse it".

Any one can cut and paste from biased sources, anything from the Morning Star can be rebutted by quoting from the Mail , and vice versa.

One thing to remember though, unemployment has allways been higher when labour left office, than when it took office.

Cheers.

I'd guess at least 90% of us on here are working class from working class families...so a labour party in action and not name only would probably be the party we would lean towards...but no chance..come on Corbyn was basically spouting communism and Abbot would be given the purse strings!!! ... Blair was an unbelievable Statesman, said the right things and acted perfectly at the right time, jumped on the good feel of the 90s and played it....what a wanker!

Having any type of nationalistic view is considered racist, why? Surely all countries should be nationalist first... none of the main parties do what they say, Boris had a good go with Brexit but I fear that will all be lost...

I voted Tory last time as I couldn't think of having Corbyn running the country...but I know it matters not... its been said enough on here, they are all the same at the end of the day..

I was working class but recently, and especially since I purchased a claret shoffel gillet, I would now consider myself middle class. We even have a bird who does our ironing.

Fck you povs ?

Did you buy the gillet with the money you would have spent on a season ticket?

Are one of the distant ManU supporters like Newkid?

Newkid has  been through extensive vetting, personality and Man U history tests, and is considered a  bone fide Man U supporter ( second class). He has a further 10 initiation tests to complete before he can be considered  a first class Man U supporter. The first of these will be to appropriate 10 Leeds Utd scarfs to be used as trophies. They must be taken in fair combat from Leeds fans over 6 ft in height and below age 60. I am confident he will complete this challenge with ease.

What if one of them is a 6' 5" Norwegian born in Leeds now living in Manchester?

In that case he joins that elite branch of gold star Man Utd  supporters. There are only 3 of us at present. myself, Eric Cantona ( thanks for him by the way) and big Alex himself.
