pesky1972 5,543
Natural history documentaries where the prey always escapes, or the cute little baby survives some misadventure. Always with the jeopardy but never the cruel and unhappy ending. These programmes should be educational, and even if we’re don’t get to see some of the more gruesome brutality of nature, these should be true to life. I want to see more iguanas eaten by snakes and ostrich chicks baked alive by the searing heat of the African desert…, that’s why I pay my licence fee.

They never used to be like that, they used to me matter of fact, now it's all about the narrative, and even the most respected film makers now make up a story, even certain scenes aren't real, they mix different footage and put them together suit the narrative.

That used to have some gruesome footage of predator and prey. Great big Nile crocodiles grabbing whatever and dragging them in to be torn apart. Basically brought home just how cruel nature really is! None of this Disneyfied bollocks you see these days Poor Mumba the ickle baby leopard tries to make friends on the Serengeti but the other animals don’t want to know because they are racist right wing thugs, after all Mumba is an all black leopard… Now, he’s on his way to a new home in Europe, where he’ll receive a house, healthcare and a fresh gazelle every 2days. mitre 140
Well I know bills are outrageous gas and electric and water rates written a letter to the water rates about the increase of them and they have not got the decency to get back in touch for a drink in the pub for £2 a glass of water I think
