king 12,030
Who said he was a hero? He's just a normal, decent bloke and an amazing athlete. Is it really so strange to admire athletic ability? How do you know he's a normal decent bloke.Do you personally know him ?

It's how he's come across in everything I've seen and read of him so until I hear or see something that makes me think otherwise I'll class him as a normal decent bloke. What makes you think he isn't?

That's why you hang off everything Corbin says. For all we know he could be a wife beater. I personally couldn't give a feck about him. Why should I.i don't even know him. And wouldn't want to know him.

dytkos 17,942
Whatever his race, religion, colour etc, he is an excellent athelete. Personally I dont watch it so it means nothing to me but I have a certain respect for anyone who is the best in their chosen profession. I agreed with big gay dave earlier on the thread so I suppose any credibility I had has gone now anyway Cheers, D.

tatsblisters 10,955
not for me would have a bit more respect if he had won the medals for his own country, sportsmen, singers, actors dont overly impress much. Soldiers,Nurses,Samaritans they impress me Same here even the care workers working for a pittance in care homes I have more respect for than Mo . Can I ask why?? I honestly see no malice or anything that would make me dislike him! Well other than being Muslim, but at least he isnt a jihad TBH I do not dislike the man and I agree he is a role model to some young people I wish some of the other Somalians who have come to live in my area would take a leaf out of his book instead of being a fekin unwanted problem.
