The queens going to be mighty pissed off if she misses Ascot lol

We were also promised brexit would start today. What a f***ing mess and not a good signal to send to those c**ts in the EU.

On a lighter note the orange potus doesn't want to visit any countries where he might not get a warm welcome. Oh well he be staying in the states then i pressume lol

Diane (brains of Britain) Abbot reckon it will be a draw 60% labour 60% Conservatives :)

I've never been a great cynic, but sweet Christ, a staunch remainer (May) has a workable majority, has the backing to push ahead with brexit, calls a snap election, which she said she wouldn't and pro

On the radio this morning she's said that the end of free movement is a must

And it is, otherwise we will come under pressure to accept other conditions and we will remain a member in all but name !

BUT......that would mean enforcing a border, and Arlene and he pals will never put their hands up for that !

I don't think the ScotCons would vote for a Brexit that means an end to free movement either, certainly what it sounds like with Ruth Davidsons "open Brexit". And they've got more than enough MPs to sink any vote.

May needed that big majority to be able to force through a hard Brexit without worrying about rebellions, she hasn't got that and is in fact now relying on a load of new MPs from Scotland and the DUP who favour a soft Brexit to get anything passed, I really can't see any way forward for a hard Brexit.

Hypothetically, what happens if in 18 months Parliament haven't agreed on anything and it's time to give the keys back and move out?

That sounds pretty fecking 'hard' to me and it's entirely in the hands of the government, unless a vote of no confidence succeeds prior. It'd be f***ing tragic but then so would going through all this to remain bound by the EU.

I've been stuck in the desert since the beginning of last week. Can anyone give me a summarized version of how this is going to play out?

I wasn't impressed with the voter turn out. Maybe the ladies and gentlemen, of Britain, should try and get some kind of click to vote app sorted out and then we could do away with these bothersome elections. :hmm:

68% turnout is actually fecking high for UK elections, the highest since 92 I think?

Says a lot about standards, though, when a third of the population didn't bother. With all the 'rivers of blood' speeches on here I was expecting a tory landslide, emboldened by a populist upset in other places, and the final thrust against multiculturalism. Tommy Robinson paddling up Pall Mall on a current of immigrant blood...

What I see is a socialist revival and show of confidence in the leader that seems to stay true to core Labour values. Maybe internet activism should be shown for what it is. :hmm:

I'd like to see the faffing about continue then once the 2 years is up, we're out regardless.

I didn't vote for hard or soft brexit. I voted OUT.

Don't worry, you will do........it is actually happening, despite what some might think. Like I said on another thread, uk commission employees have been told they are losing their jobs at the end of said period.

My guess is, at the end of negotiations.....the deal will be a fcuking shambles!
