What really makes me disbelieve is the amount of livestock that would have to go missing to feed these mysterious animals. Put that along side the technology we have now, yes NV, and I can't see how they can keep hidden 24/7. When we get snow how do they manage to sneak about unoticed....I'm sorry but one footprint does not cut it. There should be hundreds.

Again....I'll be happy for you to prove me wrong but it would need to be concrete evidence to make me change my mind.

Happy searching...

Can't argue with needing the evidence, it's a prerequisite, but it wouldn't necessarily be a massive issue to livestock. Cats here follow the deer herds and livestock damage is very low. I'm not say they don't take livestock but they wouldn't need to hunt deer at all in these parts if that was the case. My son's seen one while out with the dog, but all I've ever seen is tracks. Nothing on camera and a couple of the rangers, I know, have never seen a live one. This is in a part of the world where they probably outnumber the people.

If there is a population in the UK I really do think it's plausible that it could remain undetected because of the lack of numbers. Over here they have dedicated teams of people that actively monitor them, and while they can see the evidence that points to them they don't see a lot of them.

Over there they're not even open to the possibility that they even exist, so any evidence put forward is immediately at risk of mockery. From that alone I can understand why people privately go about satisfying their own curiosity, without fuss.

Your in the US mate is that correct? (Can't see on my phone). I really don't think we can base our little island to the likes of the US on how big cats would behave.

Possibly they would find it a better solution to hunt deer in cover but there's is not too much to pick from over here. Sheep would be the easy option.

mate I was really struggling to find anything, it was studying the American trailcam stuff on the internet that turned things around for me, the habits of these animals is much the same the world over, I do find the odd sheep stripped out by a large predator but mostly it's wild animals, deer mostly but have seen pics of badgers , fox,s, swans, a foal and an elpacko all killed and stripped in excactly the same way, so don't discount it

All the rubbish about folk not wanting to say anything because they don't want the fuss is just that, rubbish!

well fair play mate you have changed your tack a few times over this, there is a Facebook page were people put there pictures up I believe, just to be discredited and slagged down by the armchair hunters, most of whom done a nights lamping with a mate and a shit dog but have talked about it for a year and now know everything about hunting, were as I,m old and pretty fecked but have spent most of my life outdoors, I've known of these cats for over 30 years and now I,m coming to the end I decided to go out and have a look, it's taken me three years and I,ve walked in the region of 30.000 miles, I've spent well over a grand on cameras battery,s and sd cards and get the piss ripped out of me a few times a week just to get myself one photo, that's not the best but it's good enough for me, the lad that said he saw one in a truck bed before it was incinerated is telling the truth farmers don't want townies with cameras crawling all over there land,to keep on shouting rubbish just shows a very closed mind, you asked for a photo, I showed you one, someone else asked for a corpse I showed you one, if it's all rubbish put your PlayStation controller down and get out for a look you may even surprise yourself

Ok Mr Corbett whatever you say......

Its been an interesting topic ive enjoyed reading some folks passion for this type of thing......but that type of passion is why a statement like the above is for me what raises the most doubt as i dont think they would be able to keep real solid evidence to themselves it would be human nature to shout " look at this " from the rooftops.....i believe in God but that's all it is " belief " if i had some solid evidence in the existence of God you bet your life i,d be showing anyone willing to listen thats just how we are ......it all seems a bit feeble and pathetic to say " i have evidence......but im not telling " !
one last reply, there is a very simular situation with big cats in Australia, researchers in England and Australia often compare notes, there is an Aussie guy on YouTube that collects leopard pooh and hair from the zoo and sends them off to the government claiming he found them in his garden and wondered what they are, in every instance the reply is the same dog hair, dog pooh, Why ? I also saw a film not so long back sent to another guy that collects evidence from the sun news paper it was a big black cat with a really long tail and looked the part though the distance was a bit far, after analysing the picture and coming to the conclusion it was about 98 percent definate, he called back to the paper to be told the journalist that had sent him the picture no longer worked there ,they had no forward address and had lost all the bloke,s details who handed the film in to them, I don't know why but it happens to often to be fake and for that reason most of us ain't interested, I've proven it to myself with out doubt why would I want to put my self through all the shit, trust me if you turned up with Jesus in your passenger seat the majority would just say you found a hippy

I've just been on the website and there's no good evidence on it whatsoever to confirm the claims of Big Cats roaming around here, I clicked on the Field Signs of Big Cats link and it says more information soon...... ???
