A white man wanting to marry a white woman to ensure his kids are white and in doing so protect his racial identity has the right to do so, and should have the right to proclaim his intentions without fear of reproach. A black man has exactly the same rights.

What no-one has the right to do is to abuse, persecute, rape or murder another person for not sharing those same views.

I don't understand why people keep changing the "rules". It's like someone is trying to catch you out.

Years ago, you had to call black folk "coloured". now they go apeshit if you do that as it's racist and you have to call them black (The do-gooders, not the black folk)

Tomo - I read earlier you referred to your kids as halfcast. I always thought that was pretty harmless description of people who were half black and half white, but recently heard that word was a no-no now. It's impossible to keep up. Fair play to you and your family though.

Black?! :icon_eek: You racist prick! It's Person of Colour now

That might be a yank thing,,,,over here it's still black....

My wife's mother who is mixed race,,half cast ect ect,,,,still uses the word half cast and coloured,,,and she doesn't get offended ,,,by being called any of the above...

I do think today folk are ever so easily offended,,,,not just blacks,,,or Asians ,,,but anybody gays lesbos,,ect

He's exactly right,if you believe in god don't rally against the order he put in place,if you don't then understand that not abiding by the laws of nature can only lead to disaster.

Whether that's racist or not depends on the definition of that word at the time, but it's true none the less.

No NOT racist in my opinion...and my wife is black and my kids halfcast,,,just his opinion,,,I don't agree with it,,,but it's his opinion and he's entitled to it....

I bet if he said that stuff today ,,,he would be labelled a racist

He,d be called a nigger by the blacks,if a white person said it,the blacks would beat their racist drum,he,d be called a coward by the folk that went to Vietnam, without colour coming into the equation,he went to prison and the muslims embraced the coward as Mohamad and on his release he became the greatest boxer of all time, even though other boxers beat him?,to appease the establishment.

a few years ago I was working at a prison and there was some 'racial awareness' training. One of the attendees was a black man, lets call him John. If John was stood on his own and someone came and asked you where john was you were allowed to say 'john is the black man over there'. However if John is stood in a group and he was the only black man then you couldnt say 'john is the black man over there' because it was singling him out by his colour?!

we did the training excersizes and role plays and it came to my turn I was asked have you seen John and I said 'John is over there stood in that group of people he has massive hands and an afro'. Dont think the trainer was best pleased but I just said I havent singled him out by use of his colour which, by the way is the most obvious descriptor.

The irony of all of the b***ocks was that John didnt care, he said to the trainer I am proud of my heritage and my family history which I celebrate quite openly, I am black so why shouldnt somone be able to describe me that way?

The words do not carry the offensiveness is the context of how they are used.

Telling it how it is he's talking sense to me

what are your opinions Marshman as you are married to a gorja women so ild expect you to disagree with Ali ?

I would say Marshman is technically the same race as his wife.

If Romany blood lines were pure all the way back to northern India, then you would look like Indians.

There would have been much mixing with locals on the 1000 or so years journey to this country.
