Don't worry pal-few yrs ago I was on a day trip with the wife and little uns to a community farm thing and on the way there came across a load of cars that had stopped in the lane for a dirty big seagull that was in the middle of the road half run over squawking like f**k,I jumped out and walked up asked what's the problem?some rat was on her phone ring for a vet lol,I walked past her and picked it up-I then humanely put it out off its misery with a fence post and threw it over the hedge-walked back to the car got in and started beeping my horn"nothing to see here" they soon moved off-couldn't

He's just started to find another gear lol-he can cover some ground but is still very clumsy,he's supposed to be wheaton/bull/grey/welsh foxhound x sal/coll/grey-he got a good nose and will mark stuff in the ground-got him to help the terriers and lamping,I will try him with a spot of ferretting come the season and lamping .he will run all day never seems to tire,he be 1 end of next month so don't expect too much from him until after xmas he's around 27 tts. I have a good feeling about him and an it in no rush,hopefully he does enough to warrant his kennel space.atb dc

I've been trying to get my pup to jump for months,with no joy,so thought f**k him he will find away over-the prick flew over when I started running off away from him lol,last few times out he has done it no problem, I'm glad cause he ain't small and my back is f****d from a car crash 18 m ago.I've known boys pay 500 plus for dogs doing the job,then take them back when you got to lift them over a fence or gate.I'm with Fuji ,if a lurcher doesn't jump then it's just a dog.

Get him to a good vet-and be prepared to spend a few bob.I've had dogs that have scratched the eye ball etc but never seen the eye swell itself-could be an infection behind it or something?hope you get it sorted and it don't have to come out.atb dc
