  1. They have to run them now especially the bitches because they will be lined at their first season.you talk some shit-how come there's tons of coursing bred shit up for sale at 9 months of age?same as the wankers with the greyhounds, none of you slippery fuckers could lie straight in bed-people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones .they may well of been squatters so no harm done imo.do you slate folk who have their pups out ferretting from 3 m old?atb dc
  2. Dropping baggies tut tut Gareth lol.man's pup his choice, the Crabbers need to get over themselves.atb dc
  3. when I was a kid there was an old Morris traveller that was folded in half and buried on an old piece of waste ground on the back of the industrial estate -held a fox on more than one occasion lol and an old quarry that I ferret has the back drum off a 16 ton concrete wagon half buried and holes all around and under it.never ran it with a terrier mind,I stay away from the quarrys inside and on top if I can.atb dc
  4. Fairplay to them.caught them on a boat out of milford haven few years back, some craic. Atb dc
  5. Good luck with them pal-hope they serve you well.atb dc
  6. A better smell Lee that's for sure. ;)atb dc
  7. Better to have shit kit than no kit at all.I've seen lads put the collar on the dog and forget to turn it on in the excitement lol-the look on their faces;).like pabs said too many rely on technology and don't have a clue how to dig their dogs without a collar.been out with plenty of folks that can't use the old grey box to locate a ferret tidy lol.I always have my 15 ft grey box and collars in the truck just incase the b & f and collars f**k up.amazed at the amount of lads that dig and don't carry/or know how to use a t bar -just use them to tether the terriers lol.atb dc
  8. When I worked in London never seen anything like it-they would be trotting down the street like a dog in and out of the folks going to work, most of the people would be glued to their phones and not even notice them.used to feed one vixen and her cubs every morning after a night shift, she was missing her front left leg.she would sit under the balcony of my digs calling up for me to feed them .atb dc
  9. Found them in trees 10 feet off the ground and in the cable trays on the railways.atb dc
  10. thought you are not allowed to even walk a dog over one on a lead or off, start digging it and your interfering with it-smelly f***ing things protected more than your kids .best to stay well away imo).atb dc
  11. I hardly drink any more, that was the first night I've been out properly since Christmas. Probably half the problem. I had a few to many last weekend-felt like shit until a wednesday lol-wish you a speedy recovery gaz and a happy birthday to ray :)atb dc
  12. Ive said in the other thread mate I will get a bellman but don't see how that would of helped me here. She had f****d off on a long line on a huge expanse of ground and could of been anywhere. You need to know what set she is in really for a locator surely? unless you know where every set is within a 5 mile radius and check them all... when you own terriers gaz-you should know every hole on the ground mate, just because the dog is a busher don't mean it won't drop in.your lucky she didn't dig on to tight and run out of air.madness running any terrier loose with out a collar on imo.I'm glad you
  13. No different to myself-the rest is down to time/patience and a good dollop of luck.;)This season I've been giving hookbaits/pva a good glug of oil and I believe that has given me a slight edge (something I normally do only when the water is the colour of oxtail soup)atb dc
  14. Around that maybe even 20 mil-If I shorten up the hair so the bait touches the bend then I hit in to more chub.nice long hair and double pellet/bollie barbel.the chub normally mouth the bait then drop it on a long hair in my experience. I sit on my hands and wait for the big rap around lol and connect to a barbel.I found when I fished the taff the locals were very cagey and wouldnt let you see their rigs etc. I just cracked on and soon got into the big fish.do you fish 2 rods or 1?I fish 2 and use different methods/hookbaits then when I catch on the one I swap the other rod to it.sometimes 3
  15. River has been real low this last week, fish not showing any interest until after 10:30 pm.managed the one barbel and a few tidy chub.atb dc
  16. A single 15mm Halibut boilie, with PVA bags of not much freebies (Crushed boilies and/or pellets) or a G/B feeder. The lads that do well on there don't share much info, but what they do say is to not feed much and don't cast out too often. They won't tell you what they're using though. They say to just leave it in there. That part is a tad boring TBH. I've got some big drilled pellets, I'll give it a go one one of my rods. Just bought some of these to try. http://www.dynamitebaits.com/products/p/spicy-tuna-sweet-chilli-boilie-range been having fish all season on them :)at
  17. If the plums are telling you one thing then do the opposite lol,my mate always ties short hairs so the pellet is tight to the hook-Last nite he had a few chub, soon as he lengthened the hair and doubled up the pellets he was back into the barbel lol.atb dc
  18. What you using for hookbait? I put 2 20 mm halibut pellets on the hair and don't get plagued by chub, anything 14 mm and smaller they seem to want to hang themselves lol.try using a longer hair on your hook link. atb dc
  19. Gat guns, peg guns,Dutchie arrows and a good game of manhunt lol beating f**k out of each other and scrumping fruit trees, joy riding milk floats on the local farm.atb dc
  20. How much does one of them set you back dc....? think around 120 mate and came with a good grinder and some other bits and bobs.what I put in a jazz fag you can vape most of the day with it .atb dc
  21. Cracking pics-dogs look in fine fettle.atb dc
