    Just go self employed ow- you can pick and choose when/how much work a week you want to do then.the only reason I took a job with a salary was to shut the wife up and to watch my little uns grow up.you will earn big coin if you don't mind working away.I would work for average 9 months of the year and the rest out with the dogs (that I do miss mind,but wouldn't change back as I missed the first 3 yrs of my oldest lad growing up.)You soon get pissed off working as a service engineer mate,try Clarkson and Evans sparkys they do the contracts on most of the big housing sites in wales .atb dc

Lol. I can't stop her killing ferrets with a shock collar so I don't think I'm gonna stop her dropping below if she wants to go. It's one of the problems with taking on older dogs but I wasn't naive or unaware. It is what it is.     Ive said in the other thread mate I will get a bellman but don't see how that would of helped me here. She had f****d off on a long line on a huge expanse of ground and could of been anywhere. You need to know what set she is in really for a locator surely? unless you know where every set is within a 5 mile radius and check them all... There made to search a mountian side after a avalanche for a person,so yeah mate they will deffo help you find a dog lost out there,you'd just have to grid search an area and mark it off on a map type thing and a decent finder will cover 50 meters so you'd zig

    I have dug my terriers and worked dogs all over the UK myself gaz-all the more reason to teach a terrier to wait until told to enter,or the runners not to touch a cat until told other wise some learn quicker than others,man and dog .atb dc

    Gaz your only option maybe running a terrier through every hole and hope they bump into her mate.when we know that a dog is lost in a place for certain (without a collar),we have informed the fire service and they came with a thermal camera-they did fail us more than once.other option is your fell and moorland rep and a good team of lads on the shovel.if you can't find her then she's more than likely been picked up by a dogooder/cnut.hope you find her .atb dc
